What do you get when you try to combine as many fetishes as possible into one Character?.The busty,meidooutfit/eyepatch wearing,psychotic/shy/submissive,wrestling move throwing epitome of all fetishes called Ryomou Shimei.I already reviewed Cerberus rendition of Sonsaku Hakufu and Kanu Unchou before and well take a look at my favorite Ikki tousen Character this time.If you thought that Hakufu und Kanu were glossy you were definately wrong.French Dolls sculpt of our favorite combat meido shines like a shooting star in the sky!Is that a good or a bad thing?

This figure is,like Kakufu & Kanu,based upon a resin kit released last year.The PVC release has undergone the glossy alternative color treatment like the other 2 Cerberus figures.I dont know if they had too much glossy paint left after they finished Kanu&Hakufu but they spent an immense amount of gloss paint on Ryomou.Her complete outfit from head to the shoes is covered in that paint.You wont notice it when you display her normally in your room but it made the photoshooting a big mess.Shes reflecting alot of the lighting and i had to apply some tricks to make halfway decent pictures.
I used an indirect lightsource for the upper lighting and picked a dark brown as my background.The background turned out nearly black in the end.I hoped that it would make a good contrast to all the shiny reflections but it seems that i failed this time:DThe Pictures turned out quite big this time with an average of 600-700kb a shot.I tried to compress them but they looked really bad after that.I think i should host my pictures on something like Flickr or a similar service the next time to avoid too much traffic.Have you any recommendations?
Ryomou comes with her trademark handcuffs and in her meidooutfit.The handcuffs are of nice quality and can be attached easy on her.Thats all you have to do and shes ready for display.Or maybe not:mine was full of smudges and i had to wipe her clean.It may be due to the white gloss paint but it didnt look good for sure.Ive heard of sloppy paintjobs on this figure where the gloss paint isnt applied equally but mine is fine in that department.If i have to complain about something then that her hair could have used a bit more shading and i would have prefered the original color scheme.The paintjob on this figure isnt spectacular for sure but its decent quality in the overall department.
French Doll sculpted Ryomou in a submissive pose that would have suited a Rei Ayanami.Her eyes focus on the ground infront of her giving her a shy “dont look at me” expression.Shes one of the few Ikki Tousen Figures that doesnt have a sexy facial expression.Youll have to decide if its too your fancy
When you take a close look youll notice that i didnt clean her properly before i took the pictures.Theres dust everywhere

damn that’s very hawt. funny that this is the third review i’ve seen lately with a black (well, dark brown -> black in your case i guess? ^^;) background. definitely adds a nice flavor the review although unfortunately i think it made some pics kinda hard to see ‘cuz of the black parts of ryomou’s outfit ^^;

Yeah some parts are indeed hard to see.These Pics turned out way better than the try with my usual background.It reflected too much light and resulted in a way too glossy figure(and shes still pretty glossy).
Ooh another glossy figure (though mostly on the black parts)~ She makes me think of Rei in terms of character design. Is she the most conservative-looking character in the series (i.e. not flashing too much stuff for fanservice)? : o

Yeah her Design and Character has quite alot in common with Rei.I think thats why i like her the most.
She definately looks more conversative than Hakufu or Kanu but dont let the look fool you.She is getting as many pantsushots,ripped clothes as the other girls.Shes also getting the breastfondling by Hakufu treatment quite often^^
Id have to say that Chuubo is the most coservative character.Cant remember that she had any fanservice scenes until now
Ikki Tousen isnt a series for people that hate fanservice ^_^

I don’t know Ikki so i can’t say anything but the pose of this one is a little too classical for my taste :p but big size is love
