The Figure Wishlist ~Blowfish Edition~

When Panther calls the Blowfish grawls! Yes Blowfishs do indeed growl.They have actually a very,very scary growl but ill save that for another post.Panther introduced to us a few days ago his Figure Wishlist and it isnt one of those lame posts you do when you are too lazy to make a real blogpost.This isnt a wishlist for figures we want to own but for figures we want to be made.I bet you often thought about how nice id would be if that certain character you like would be made into a full fledged PVC Figure.Chances that this happens are actually pretty low if they dont apply to the popular Anime/Manga standarts.Manufacturers want to earn money,they are a buisness after all.Thats why they play safe most of the time and release the same type of figure over and over again.”So why are you compelling this list if its never going to happen anyway?” you may ask.The reason is actually pretty simple:Theres a tiny,tiny chance that well be heard if enough of us post about their wishes.You could say that these wishlists are some kind of guideline for the manufacturers to know what we actually want besides the usual merchandise.

Manufacturers give a molepigs behind about the opinion of one infamous blogger.Thats why im asking you guys to do the same as me and panther and to compell a list of figures YOU want to see.You could take panthers or my post as an inspiration and make your own list.If enough of us get together and are doing the same thing theres a small,really small chance that manufacturers may take notice of our opinion.They may ignore a few people but they cant  ignore the masses.REVOLUTION! ROW ROW FIGHT DA POWA……whatever….

The FAILURE quote is probably over ninethousand but its still nice to take some time and dream about your dream figure eh?Thats why you should grab your pencil and paper and start to make your very own FIGURE WISHLIST

• Character: Haruko Haruhara
• Series: FLCL
• Prefered Maker: GSC/Alter

Okay ill start of with an absolute no brainer.Haruko Haruhara is the mainprotagonist of one of my all time favorite Animes FLCL.I love her weird yet sexy character design and she absolutely needs to be recreated as a figure.I imagine her in a very dynamic pose wielding her Rickenbacker bass guitar while having one of her scary facial expressions.Alot of detail should be put into her upper eyes and bassguitar.There are plenty of outfits to choose from but id prefer her normal outfit with her scarf beeing blown by the wind.Runner Ups would be her Baseball/Nurse Outfit.Alter/GSC are the ones that are able to pull of a combination of great detail and dynamic poses so my vote goes for them.

• Character: Kana Minami
• Series: Minami-ke
• Prefered Maker: Max Factory/GSC

We actually need a complete set of the three Minami sisters but i like Kana the most so shes getting featured here.Im pretty sure that were seeing a  relaese of the Minami sisters in the near future.It was pretty much sealed with the announced third season and Danny hinted more than once at it.I only have to ask for one favor: USE THE CHARACTERDESIGN OF THE FIRST SEASON.MF and GSC both impressed with their own Haruhi Figures and i think both can pull of nice Minami-ke figures.I expect them to catch Kanas carefreeness and  a nice genki pose.

• Character: Sawyer the Cleaner
• Series: Black Lagoon
• Prefered Maker: Alter

Nearly every girl in Black Lagoon kicks some major ass but the girl that got my love from the first moment i saw her is Sawyer the Cleaner.She plays a very minor role in the overall plot of Black Lagoon but just look at her! Isnt she adoreable?Her pose should show her supremacy and yet the fragile little girl thats inside her.That means that alot of detail has to go into her facial sculpt.It makes or brakes the aura of the character here.Id like to see her frilled dress blowing in the wind while shes holding her chainsaw full of herself in the moonlight.Ahhhh…yeah this is definately a Job for Alter.

• Character: Shinobu
• Series: Nin Nin ga Shinobuden
• Prefered Maker: Kotobukiya/GSC

I normally dont like cute Characters but come on how can you resist Shinobu?Shes a Ninja in training after all! And Ninjas are cool! atleast my 5 year old neigbour told me that.Shinobu needs a cute pose preferably one where she can shout Nin!Nin! before performing some fancy Ninja trick.An important part of this figure is that her Sensei Onsokamaru-kun has to be along her side watching her actions.I want this figure to be soo sweet that you get diabetes from it so it seems like a perfect job for Kotbukiya or GSC.They both are perfect at sculpting adoreable female figures.

• Character: Misaki Nakahara
• Series: Welcome to the NHK
• Prefered Maker: GSC

Here we have Satous sweet angel Misaki that has come to cure him of his hikkikomori ways.Wouldnt it be nice if a girl like her would be standing one morning infront of your door?Id like to see a sculpt inspired by the cover of the manga like this or this.Shes a character that definately needs a more conversative pose.She could carry her little notebook with her to add some little detail for the series lovers.Its hard to make a figure look good with such conversative poses thats the reason why GSC should  do the job.Theyve got enough experience with this kind of figure. ~I wouldnt mind a Misaki in her Neko outfit tough~ <3

• Character: Excel Excel
• Series: Excel Saga
• Prefered Maker: MF/Alter

Okay i think im actually pretty alone with this one . I absolutely adore the sheer randomness and stupidity that is Excel Saga.I can watch the Anime for hours and the Manga is also a good read.Excel is a Character to challenge the creativity of the sculptor!Shes such a genki girl that literally bursts with energy.If youve seen the Anime then you know what im talking about.Id like to see an sculpt of Excel because she has such insane moves that would look absolutely awesome  in 3D.Im really curious what the creative minds of the sculptors could design.I think the most fitting makers for this task are Alter and MF.

• Character: Lt. Kitsurubami
• Series: FLCL
• Prefered Maker: Alter/Goodsmile

Here i am once again with a FuriKuri Character.Did i mention that its awesome?It also features all kind of metaphors for the male genitalia.Kitsurubami is another minor Character that i liked from the moment i saw her.Her uniform,blond hair and dark skin are a combination i usually dont like but it somehow worked with this Character.I think some kind of military pose/gunshooting action is the best way to sculpt her.I really liked the shooting scene on the back of the car so thats my number one pose.I think that like with Haruko GSC/Alter would deliver the best result

• Character: Azusa Fuyutsuki
• Series: Great Teacher Onizuka
• Prefered Maker: Hard to choose….Kotobukiya

Ahhh….Fuyutsuki-sensei how sweet you are.And yet you dont seem to know it.I chose her because i like her Character alot and shes a nice image of an more grown up female with 22 years.You usually see just schoolgirls or middleaged women in Anime thats why shes quite a fresh take on the genre.Shes actually a perfectly normal woman with her own dreams and hopes.Yet shes afraid of what lies ahead of her future.Id like to see a more mature figure like her in a subtle pose that throws in bit of sexappeal while maintaining the characters shyness.I think that Kotobukiya could handle this quite well

• Character: Mia
• Series:Welcome to the NHK
• Preferred Manufacturer: Kotobukiya

My last choice is Mia the catgirl with a twist.I really like her design even tough is usually dont like catgirls.I think its the overall design that is just “right”.Since shes a fantasy character id like to see her in an dynamic pose doing her magic.Id also be perfectly fine with an embarassed Mia with blushed cheek and her tail around her legs.I give Kotobukiya the favor for this figure even tough i cant really tell why.

Thats it! Its over!Im pretty sure i forgot some characters but if i still could post a second wishlist at a later time.You dont need to tell me that mostly all of these Characters have zero chance of beeing picked up because they are too old or minor.I still enjoyed compelling this list though.I hope i encouraged you to do the same as me and youll post a wishlist soon.Drop me a message and ill link to yours
