I bought the Comic Gum set of Ryomou,Hakufu and Kanu in early spring and im quite pleased with the quality of Ryomou and Kanu.Hakufu on the other hand looks really terrible but im going to write about that in a later review.These figures are once again an alternate color re-release of figures originally released in early 2007.I somehow always end up with these…Sure they are “limited” but i would have prefered to own the original colored ones.The manufacturer used once again glossy colors (James did i hear you scream in joy? ^^) and these make the figures less lively due to the lack of shading.Her pose is still dynamic but its sad to see that some of it got lost due to bad color choice.In fact the Sculptor added some nice details to Ryomou like her cross,buckles,the folds in her dress and the wrinkles in her stockings.They just arent that easy to spot due to the dark glossy color.The detail put into her Katana is also worth a mentioning since its looks really nice compared to other weapons.You should take a look at Superrats review of the original color version to check out all the work that went into this figure.
UArt added a mirror base for all your pervy needs instead of the plain white one that came with the original release.Her crouching pose allows the display without a base tough.This is one of the few Ikki Tousen figures that can still be displayed even if your mom and granny come over for tea.You wont see her panties from the regular viewing angle so youll still inherit your grandmas cash.
I like the expression Uchijima gave her and the only thing that keeps her from beeing a genuine Ryomou figure is the alternate color and the nurse outfit.I most certainly wouldnt want her to nurse me but i love her as one of my figures on display.
PS:Has anybody an idea why my font is this big and bold?I didnt change anything and cant set it to normal too

That’s an interesting alternate ‘monochrome’ colour of Ryoumou. An eyepatched nurse with katana is not someone I’ll see very often, but I don’t think I will like to be nursed by her though : P
