Lucia what a classic name that is given to real ladies.This particular lady comes in red,bandaged and with an accessory thats going to convince you that shes right and youre wrong.I investigated if her natural assets can convince the fellow otaku or if shes really needs that sword to make us her new roommate.

Lucia is one of the protagonists of the Doujinshi series Positive Penguin Live by Misato Mitsumi.There isnt much more i can tell you about the figure.Her designer seems to be involved in videogame illustrations but theres no hint if those are real ones or eroges.My guess ist the latter one because she attends Comiknet and sells her doujinshis there.
Lucia shared the same 70% off fate as Cammy and i thought that i could give BOME another chance since i liked her character design and she was fairly cheap.My recent delivery seems to be some kind of FAIL magnet and i noticed that one those little metal chords that keep the figures in place wasnt wrapped properly around her right leg and rubbed off some paint off her bandages :/ I dont know if the quality check at kaiyodo is too loose or f i had real bad luck but its something that shouldnt happen at all.Im in the lucky position that i didnt pay too much for her but it still sucks.I dont wanna know how someone that paid the regular price would react if he noticed this.
Kaiyodos production quality improved since BOME #11 and shes alot more pleasing to the eye than my Jungle Emmy.Its great to see that they arent stagnating and try to pull of better quality with their products.Lucia comes with a custom base that is supposed to resemble some rocky/mountain area and gives the figure a nice touch even tough it blocks the look at her from behind.The cape thats been blown by the wind blocks the rest of the sight and makes her a bit hard accessible from behind.I had a few tries until i was able to fit her sword into the hand.The sword has a lil odd shape in my opinion but maybe thats what this kind of sword look.Another thing i noticed is that Lucias jaw seems to be a bit big.Id expect some hardcore sailor to have a jaw like this but this is only a minor rant by me.Paint/Sculptwise there isnt much to rant about its average Kaiyodo quality.
Lucia a nice little figure for small money but nothing essential.Bome Figures arent as bad as i expected after Jungle Emmy and ill be on the prowl for that Bunny Girl Twi Pack by Bome at a cheap price.
I really wondered what all of this has to do with Penguins and why their live seems to be positive.If someone out there knows the answer drop a comment and enlighten us!

Mitsumi works for Leaf! She did art/character design for ToHeart2 (konomi, yuma, ilfa, yocchi, charu, etc.) Did some work for Pia Carrot 2… she was a part of the doujinshi circle “Cut a Dash!!”

I wouldnt pay the full price for a Bome figure but they are quite nice when they are older and become cheaper.

I like this BOME figure quite a bit myself. I love long braided hair but for some reason you just don’t see it too often in figures.
