Ciao Bella! Rizfis Luttiva Mente
The last time i was in Italy i sadly havent seen any cute chicks like Rizfis in her fancy dress.Even if i would have met one all i could say would be Pizza,Gelato,Pasta,Fratello,Vino and Pipistrello.I dont think that a Dude spitting out random italian words looks cool and thats why i prefer Rizfis: She doesnt talk and you have no need to answer^^
The whole world knows about GoodSmile`s X RedEntertainment`s Shuraki series and nearly everything has been said about it.Therefore ill keep this review short on words and heavy on pics.

Rizfis is like the other Shuraki Figures a great addition to your PVC Collection but in contrast to the other flawless figures there are some not so great sculpting/manufacturing faults that make her less enjoyable.Youve probably already noticed that my pictures of her are all in her battle damaged mode.There is a very simple reason for that:her dress is made of ABS (or something similar) and looks awesome,but its too heavy.One of her Pegs cant stand the stress for too long and its going to break after some time.I was lucky enough to read about this on some blogs and switched her to battle damaged mode imediately.The sad thing about this is that she looks alot better in that dress…
I wonder how this can happen when someone like GSC is involved.They usually make very solid figures and should think about something like this.They could have added atleast a metalpole inside her leg like they did with Ryu.Dont you think that Rizfis has nice big eyes?Yeah she sure has huh? Too bad that they are of such proportions that the halberd cant rest in her left hand because they are in the way.The Sculptor should have noticed this during the making process of the figure.You could try to bend her arm into another position and it could fit then.
Now to the good things: The paintjob is topnotch and the rest of the sculpt is very nice.Theres nothing to rant about here.Just check out her lovely hair or the paintjob on the halberd.Her Base is also worth a mention because its the coolest out of all Shuraki bases.You could get some pretty cool effects if you light her from down under.

she looks so amazing, she’s still on my wish list but at the same time i’m in no hurry to get her since i’ve heard of problems with her breaking the pegs off her base.

I broked transparent base. It’s too fragile. But the figure is so cute. Rizfis is one of my favorite.

She’s still fresh in her box but thanks for the tip. I will keep that in mind. Sad that u mentioned it now because one of the reasons why i got her in the first place was because of her normal dress.
Still, she is awesome and the detail is flawless. I give credit to the base. ^^

Good to know that you’ve read up other blogs on this figure’s problems beforehand. It is indeed a shame that the peg isn’t strong enough and the full battle dress is too heavy, but the damaged dress version isn’t too exposing so it’s a compromise I suppose.
On a side note, I remember someone (Valiant Ho I think) doing some blue lighting underneath the base, making the base glowing icy crystal blue, which is really awesome!

Yeah I was pretty lucky to know about this beforehand.Im glad that the Shuraki Series isnt that exposing.It would have been a shame to not be able to display her at all.Thanks for the tipp!

i’m so glad i read this and other reviews to warn me about the weak support peg. i was totally going to have her on display with the huge skirt but ended up with the battle damage like you.
for the record i absolutely suck at the shuraki cast-off process. smudged up riz’s body a bunch, will have to clean her up if i ever display her in pantsu mode -_-

Yeah thats the one time where i was thankful for my slow delivery of her^^
Yeah the Shurakis are nervewrecking if you try to cast them off/on.Ryu Mei Feng was the worst of all.It took me about 45minutes to get her dressed on after removing the plastic wrapper that she cme with. :/

I wasn’t aware of the peg problem until I read it here, so I went verify mine Rize and the peg of her left foot was broken already! Crap! It wasn’t the first time something like that ocurred, before Rize the same occurred to Kaze no Ushiro Wo Ayumumono from Alter. I couldn’t fix Kaze’s base until now but with Rize the problem was easier to deal. I drilled the peg, put a pin on it and glued it back to the base. Tadaa! Now only the time can tell if the peg will resist because I keep her with the heavy undamaged outfit on. And to deal with the problem of the halberd I just put a 3M double sided adhesive tape on the palm of her hand. Besides of these I have some leaning figures in my collection too. I think that PVC makers should get some engineering advice before making some potential troublesome figures.

Ah im sorry to hear! Now lets hope that your repair will withstand the test of time!.Its quite scary that even the quality manufacturers cant get ahold of this problem.I still dont know if they simply dont care and prefer to save some cash or if they simply have no idea about the simplest static rules.They should hire someone for their QC and Development Department to get ahold of this problem
