What!?! (NSFW)
NSFW!!! I picked up Vol.3 of the Ikki Tousen Manga today (10€ a Volume YUCK!) but this post isnt about the Manga itself but the Ad I found in the back.I was reading it on the train home and my eyes were literally popping out when i saw that ad.Youll find the Ad after the Jump!
Operation Successful!
Im finally done with tweaking my spanking new theme!It was more work than initally thought and i had to part with some beloved plugins to get this baby working.It is something completely different from K2 but i think i kept the great usability of K2 while having a slick design.Read on after the Jump for Information about changes regarding the overall Design aswell as the AnimeBlog Community.
The scourge of Manga collectors: Double Volumes
I was able to avoid a problem that most manga collectors experience sooner or later: buying a volume double.This weekend I became one of those poor souls aswell…While I was around town, I came across a bookstore and took a casual look at the manga section.I spotted there a supposedley new volume of one of the mangas Im collecting.I picked it up without further thought and went to the counter to buy it.Back home it struck me when I took a closer look at it and realized that its already a volume I own.That shop usually puts a receipt in the plastic bag together with the books you purchase but of course the girl behind the counter didnt.No chance to turn the manga in YAY!
Under Construction!
I have used the K2 Theme for over half a year now and its without a doubt a great theme.Nevertheless Ive grown pretty tired of it by now.Im yearning for something more fancy and found some neat magazine-style wordpress themes.Im going to mess around with them the next few days and as result the blog may look pretty messed up inbetween the theme switches.Ill switch back to the true and tested K2 theme if those themes wont work out as i thought.Until then ill have to keep you entertained with that hardworking lady from Gelbooru
Nose Art Girl
Alright!Im finally done with my review of Nose Art Girl /MC Nozuato.This review took me quite some time since i played alot with the shutter speed and aperature.I think it was worth it since some of the shots turned out pretty well (some others not^^).I experimented with differnt backgrounds aswell but it turned out that most pictures rendered useless except for a few and the ones taken with the brown backdrop.I think i went a little bit overboard with the castoff pics so be warned that this post is NSFW!

Another Figure Dilemma! [UPDATE]
You may remember the problems I had with my Kanu Unchou Figma and her spear.That incident really lowered my expectations of MaxFactories Figma line.Action figures are supposed to be sturdy and not easy to break as far as i know.I favored Kaiyodos Revoltech line since they are big,sturdy and cheaper than their mostly better looking Figma counterparts.I think i can erase the sturdy part about Revoltechs tough…

Tripod get!
I am one step closer to my goal of good figure photography with this little baby i bought yesterday.I didnt consider getting a tripod until ive seen a huge quality boost in meronpan figure reviews the last few weeks.One of his secrets is the use of a tripod and the 3 second delay setting to avoid any shaking.Some of my first quick shots (NSFW) are after the Jump!
