You may remember the problems I had with my Kanu Unchou Figma and her spear.That incident really lowered my expectations of MaxFactories Figma line.Action figures are supposed to be sturdy and not easy to break as far as i know.I favored Kaiyodos Revoltech line since they are big,sturdy and cheaper than their mostly better looking Figma counterparts.I think i can erase the sturdy part about Revoltechs tough…

I recieved my Fräulein Revoltech Yoko yesteday alongside some other goods and when i unboxed her it hit me in the face.It seems that i recieved a Yoko with a broken Arm Joint.I found the Arm right beside her in the box.The box was in mince condition and its supposedly a manufacturing fault.I gotta mail HLJ about it later and i really hope that theyll send me another piece.I hope theyll send her along my Saber/Yoko order to save postage fee.
I hope theyll answer soon enough so that ill be able to fix her with some superglue and finally can play with her.Cant wait to switch Reis head with her^^
My brother finally got his first “real” PVC figure along my order and boy she has a quite big box!
This is the first time I saw one of the famous Griffon bases and I was quite shocked at the size!Ive seen them on several Blogs but its a complete different thing when you see them with your own eyes.Teni is one of the bigger figures and the base seems supersized.I can only imagine how big the base will appear with smaller sized figures.
The last thing in HLJs order were some Dengeki and Megami issues and its the first and last time I imported them.I didnt really think about the postage fee and just dropped them in my shoppingcart since they were so much cheaper than in shops over here.The end of the story is that i paid a whopping 50 € postage fee for 2 figures and some magazines.Im glad i splitted it with my brother! Remember! Dont import Magazines! Itll cost you an arm and leg

Now that i have Internet again all thats left to do is check all 230 Posts in my GoogleReader (i bet half of it is from SankakuComplex and DC ^^)

Ive got an response from HLJ and they try to contact Kaiyodo for a spare Arm since shes sold out at HLJ.If they cant organize a spare part they are going to take her back and refund my money and shipping costs

In reply to the comments on my blog, the quality of the fabric is good, feels thicker rather than thin. That goes for both the skirt and the top lol.
And regarding the stalking, you might find it hard to do from germany, but by all means, have a go lol.

Ouch, poor Yoko, and poor you for having received a broken Yoko. At least it’s HLJ, so you should be able to get something worked out.. The only time I had something come broke it was UPS at fault. I swear they just kick boxes around for fun like on Ace Ventura.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that, but I do hope that HLJ will do something about that for you. It’s not like online auctions where you can’t do a thing once it’s over like my Max Factory Shana.
On the other hand, while Revoltech does have really good action figures for mechs, the same thing cannot be said for the Fraulein line, at least that’s what I’ve heard from a lot of people.

That happened to me only once and was almost like 2 years ago with Ignis by BOME which I ordered from HLJ as well, she had her ponytail broken and I managed to fix it with glue.
I mailed them and the answer I got was that sometimes those things happen when we choose SAL transportation, which is a load of bulls… because the boxes of both SAL or EMS are the same. The only thing you can hope for is for them to replace yours

I heard HLJ was generous for this kind of problem… but I’ve just checked and it’s “discontinued” on their website. Anyway I hope there will be able to do something for you. Send an email to HLJ asap if you want them to find a Yoko.

geh, revoltech too? i had hoped at least one manufacturer would set an example for the others in terms of durability. hopefully it’s just a freak manufacturer defect… i guess time will tell.

Fräulein figures tend to lose the arms and legs pretty fast.
I somehow favor them a bit more than the figmas tough.the Ryomouz Shimei Figmas should arrive later this month.Maybe shell change my state of mind

I never thought that I would buy an action figure until I started watching Lucky Star. It is the perfect series to have articulated figures instead of the normal scaled (or non-scaled) figures.
If the Lucky Star main cast had both a Figma and a Revoltech line, I think I would still have gone for the Figma versions. My top two reasons are the sculpting and the stand. ^_^
So far I haven’t had any problems with damaged figures (only damaged books, from shipping). The only figure related problem I’ve had was that one of the boxes was opened prior to shipping to my location. The box had a seal and it was obvious that it was peeled off and that the figure was moved (it was a Figma).

For purchase Fraulein Rei and Asuka, I confirm that the game is far too fragile. This is what makes me hesitate to buy the Fraulein of Haruhi ….
I can t’assuer that figma are much stronger and poseable that Fraulein. Kanu is an exception, you do not have the best example extra eyes ^ ^

Breaking the figurine is one thing, but to receive it broken must be very frustrating! Yes, hopefully the issue will get sorted out.
