Dengeki G`s Festival Deluxe Vol.13
Ive mentioned the high prices of the Dengeki Festival issues over here a few times before and when I saw this issue open for preorder a few months ago I simply had to order it.I must admit that i didnt know wich series this issue was going to feature nor the extras thatll come with it.I really hoped for an oppai mousepad but i was “unlucky” and just got a dakimakura ^___^
When it became clear that its going to be a KoiHime Musou issue i started to watch the series and well yeah…not my cup of tea.The Character Design is horrible in my eyes and this has to be the most loliriffic series ive seen!Warriors of the male gender seem to be reduced to bandits beeing pwned by the females or old jeezers in councils.The humour of the series wasnt my type either.If i had to pick a favorite character it would have been Choun Shiryu.The game may be a whole different thing since the anime was only loosley based on the game.
This isnt going to be a rant about KoiHime Musou tough but a post about the Dengeki G! Lets get going
The Magazine itself seems to feature profiles of the mainprotagonists,cheesecakeshots,interviews and the like.Ive taken some pictures below.
Seems like Ryuubi Gentoko is a female in the game in contrast to the anime?Would make sense!
If i remember correctly all 3 vowed Sisterhood in the peachgarden

Now lets get to the interesting stuff.Nobody buys the Dengeki Festival Editions because of the nice articles but the cool freebies that come with it.This Issue features a 155 x 50 cm Dakimakura,a mousepad and a set of playingcards depicting the characters.

And now to the major freebie of this issue: the Dakimakura
This is my very first Dakimakura and i must say that the quality is actually pretty nice.I compared it to my brothers Cospa Dakimakura and it feels a little bit rougher than the material Cospa uses.I thought that skincontact might feel bad due to its roughness but it proved to be false.I expected worser quality for a magazine freebie especially when you consider the price difference.I would have prefered a slightly less ecchi image but its still tolerable for my taste.If you wonder how big it is heres a comparison image with me (177cm) Ive taken as refernce
Dengeki Festival Editions are a pretty good deal if you manage to grab an issue for import (19€) and you dont have to rely on local retailers (60€).I hope that an issue with oppaimousepad pops up real soon 
Ive recieved 2 more girls in the meantime but my Rei and Asuka Gathering figures are still somewhere over the rainbow.Im able to track them and they were supposedly delievered to a Mr.Schneider in Düsseldorf…Ive called DHL immediatley and they told me that this guy is from customs and that ill recieve mail from them soon.That was last wednesday and I still havent heard from them.They were already withheld 3 days at customs in Frankfurt and now again in Düsseldorf…I wonder why?Did anybody else experience problems like this with his Gathering figures?

Ooh I see the figma I want there, and damn I need to order one of these mags sometime, so many awesome freebies, but I’m a bit worried about customs deciding that the material is “illegal” though I’ve only heard about ero manga being the problem.. so far.

Saw this at Kino a few weeks back and dam, I was tempted. I finished the series before I left on my trip and it was a enjoyable but the fight scenes were lame and dodgy. Still, a few ecchi moments and jokes was funny. lol
Hmmm… I thought it didn’t come with a mousepad but yeah, not the one I wanted. Btw, is it a double side Dakimakura?

Ah I also want the nicely colored Kohime Musou magazine! Geez, I don’t see them around, what a pity.
I tried searching for a Dakimakura in Singapore because I was curious and wanted to see how it looks. However, I failed to find any or anyone with hot guys on it so I’ll stick to my Hello Kitty bolster then. (::

I dont like preorder dengeki’s because I dont know the goodies. But when I know, the magazine runs out of stock. Anyway I think You always get cool stuff (Dakimakura and Oppai mouse pads are always welcome!!)

Hmmm…yeah i heard about those problems about Ero Mangas beeing illegal in the States.If you are ever up to ordering a Dengeki Mag you better DONT order a Dengeki HIME! It depicts pretty much everything and those little mosaics dont make it any better.Dengeki G only shows eyes max.

Dakimakura looks like any other Cushion Cover.The print is just different ^^
You poor,poor Anime loving girls.Youll have to stick with all the girls in ecchi poses and theres not even one guy for you
I think there is an Gurren Laggann Simon Dakimakura but i dont think that hes rcognized as hot by girls ^^

Saw this on KKnM, but I pass this one, beside the lack of funds, I don’t like Koihime Musou that much to get the stuff… xD Gonna wait and see what they have for the next edition.. =D

not that i’d try to convince you that koihime musou is awesome sauce, but i’m not sure loliriffic is an adjective i’d use to describe it ^^; quite a few gals with *very healthy* oppai if i remember… been a while since i watched the anime though… perhaps it was more loli than the game? or maybe it’s the sequel that had more busty babes… Anyhow, and about there being no males… isn’t that the point of the series? (retelling romance of the three kingdoms with all female leads?) ^^;;
more random info…ryuubi is the heroine of the second game, 真・恋姫†無双 〜乙女繚乱☆三国志演義〜 (shin koihime musou ~ otome ryouran sangokushi engi), but kan’u was in indeed the heroine of the first game (like the anime).
Again, seems like you didn’t care for the anime and I wouldn’t try to convince you otherwise (wasn’t exactly my cup of tea either). Was just trying to clarify some things ^^;
*ahem* anyhow! Dakimakura!!! I’ve been trying to get my hands on a dengeki festival issue for another dakimakura for sometime now… ‘cuz otherwise you have to pay like $100usd for one! orz It is kinda too bad that this issue’s dakimakura is so ecchi… hard to keep that on one’s bed without raising a few questions ^^;;

As for the next benchmark…. I think maybe 80, cos my fave number is 8…. If not 80, it’ll be 100. I went from 10k to 30k, so I’ll keep jumping in bigger numbers lol.

Ryuubi is the hero of the second game?I thought that Ryuubi,Ekitoku and Kanu all swore brotherhood/sisterhood together?Kanu and Ekitoku swore it alone in the anime…
Yeah its an expensive task to find old issues.Thats why i grabbed my chance even tough it wasnt the stuff i hoped for.Im still pleased ^^

I’ve never bought those limited uber magazine bundles aside from the magazines I end up getting due to my limited preorders. I admit that I would only get them for the cool gifts inside of them as well.
That’s pretty cool that it came with a dakimakura, but I would’ve much preferred another girl. An oppai mousepad would’ve been a nice choice as well

Ooh good thing I went by your site, I was wondering if I should get this mag or not. So the picture’s the same for both sides of the dakimakura cover, eh? The playing cards might be interesting… very disturbing jokers from what I’ve heard and I think I see what he meant by “disturbing on your picture” ^^;
Maybe I’ll pick this up next week if there’s any still available. I think it’s around $60 Canadian though >.>
