1/5 Movic Yoko – Boobielicious!
The great weather god seems to hate me lately.Whenever I have some free time the weather changes into an awful mishmash of grey and rain.You can imagine how happy I was when the sun greeted me this morning with its warm sunrays.Time for an Outdoorshoot!
I packed my things and went straight to the Düsseldorfer Nordpark and in that short amount of time the weather changed into a cloudy sky.I did my best to take some nice pictures even due the lighting wasnt the best.Thats one of the biggest drawbacks of outdoor photography: If nature doesnt want you to take pictures you wont be able to.
Im gonna keep this review short so lets get straight to the facts:
This is Movics 1/5 Yoko sculpted by a fella called Polygonia.She comes with a huge Base with the Gurren Dan Logo,a crate with the Gurren Dan Logo,Boonta,a gunshell and her 31 cm Trademark Rifle.This makes her the winner of the who has the biggest gun contest in my detolf.Paintjob and moldquality is pretty fine but not worth writing home about. Dancing Queen nagged a little about her breasts but im perfectly fine with them. Every 14 year Teenager with a bust as big as Yoko would have saggy breasts thanks to Newton and his so called gravity.What bothers me a bit about this figure is the face sculpt of Yoko,it isnt bad but didnt hit the nail either.What drew me into this figure was the provocative pose,her gun ^^ and the cheap price/size.Id say that shes a big 1/6 figure instead of a 1/5 one though
Ive got what I was expecting and am pretty pleased.Shes not really a great figure but one that knows to cater to my likes 
I didnt take Boonta or the Shell with me since i was afraid to loose them.No need to play wheres Boonta
Now that all my Yoko Ero needs are fulfilled i cant wait for Alters Bounty Hunter Yoko to fulfill my badass needs

very nice pictures, I envy your ability to find beautiful places to take pictures outdoors. I have the same problems with getting outdoor pictures done, seems like whenever I get ready to do it, the weather decides to change. This Yoko is one of the best ones I’ve seen yet, she looks great to me.

Nice nice pictures! Especially the one where she’s holding the flower. I dunno the face is a bit different than Yoko… When I saw the “1/5″ I immediately thought of the Gift Yoko, but I see it’s a different one. I have the Gift version on order now ^_^

Very nice outdoor picture ! But i prefer the Enterbrain version, or futures Gift and Alter (bounty hunter) version ^^. Congratulation for this shooting!

Lovely outdoor shoot. I reckon the nature setting was just perfect.
As can be seen, her face is kindoff but the big ass gun and her size does kinda makes it up.
I told myself to at least acquire a Yoko figure in the near future and give the range already released to future releases, I’m leaning towards the Koto one. ^^

Lying on the floor in all those petals,waiting for the sun to shine through the clouds was quite unpleasant and tiring.In the end all my pictures ended up more or less tilted.Wasnt my intention to do so.

Just go to your nearest Park and look a bit around there are opportunities for great shoots everywhere.I had to go through the Nordpark quite a few minutes until i found my shootingspot.

Didnt expect you to settle for the Koto one.I think most people would go for Alters or Gifts Yoko.

Lovely outdoor pictures! The colors composite are very nice.
I saw the figure up-close at a figure store and I think she looks quite nice actually. If I am a Yoko fanatic, I would probably have got her too. Gift’s 1/5 Yoko is out, you getting her too?

Nice outdoor photoshoot! The flower petals on the grass make for a terrific background. ^^
That Yoko figure looks nice indeed, but not awesome either, it does feel like something is lacking and details like the hair aren’t perfect.
Looking forward to the Yoko bounty hunter version too. There’s a ton of Yoko figures out there but none are really waw just yet, though that upcoming one from Alter is the first one that I was sold for right right away, can’t wait for it to come out.

Hey, thanks for the nice pictures and review. I didn’t like her when the prototype was all that I could compare to. Now, after having read and looked at your review, I’d say that this is that bad of a Yoko, either. Whoa. It seems Yoko’s boobs keep getting bigger and bigger every time I see her. Kids really grow up fast nowadays, don’t they?! I agree that if your boobs are that big and you only have a string bikini on, gravity will definitely take it’s toll on you and she’s slightly leaning forward, too. We can’t always have overly round, gravity defying boobies.
I am so glad that you used “boob” instead of “eyes”. You are so effin’ great! You have no idea how many times I’ve seen “eyes” and wondered “Hey, are you 12 and afraid of the female anatomy or something?” You are a great man for doing so and I’m not surprised coming from a former lover (according to the internet generated diagrams ^^)

@FlyingBlow: Heyyy, nice shots! Is it just me, or is “nice” the only word that comes to mind? Great lighting. And nice tilts! (Oops, almost wrote something else, lol.) But u already know I like a dramatic tilt to my shots. So don’t be afraid to tilt!

Sweet shoot. I almost got this one as my first Yoko, but held out for the Bounty Hunter version. And really, Yoko is 14 in character sheet bio only.

I skipped this one, I have my heart set on the two Alter Yokos and the Gift one. I’m hoping the Gift one will be my favorite figure of Yoko as the beautiful damsel she was right at the beginning of the series.

1) That’s a nice backdrop you chose.
2) Imagine if that was your backyard or something. It’d be such an ass to clean up the petals O_o.

it depends on which outdoor spot you are talking.. in SG its way too crowded that you can actually get a decent shoot, or there’ll be people staring at ya O_O.
well, i can’t do any shoots now since i am lacking the space to display my fig. ROFL XD

Nope im not getting Gifts Yoko since I think that 2 scaled and one Revoltech Yoko are enough for my collection.I do like her character but im not that crazy about her

Yeah shes neither awesome nor awful but I knew pretty much from the beginning what ill be getting.The thing that interested me the most about her is the pose and im absolutely happy with it

I wouldnt recommend her if you are looking for THAT Yoko but if youre into a daring pose and big size shes the one for you.Its a pretty decent job of Movic and im glad that they are able to keep their promises unlike another company…
The term eyes comes from the idea to keep your blog from giving the wrong signals to parents and whatsoever.Im not aiming for any rating and i can write the word boob as much as i want. BOOB BOOB BOOB BOOBIES See?

Im pretty sure that Alters Yoko will be breathtaking! You didnt miss anything here since shes not a musthave but I still like her.I wonder why they made her 14 at all? Her boobs are making her uninteresting to all the people that would want her to be 14
