New HLJ Box,Different Size
I think ill be able to open up a HLJ shipping box museum soon.My HLJ Anniversary Sale box arrived today and it has once again a rather unique size.Well,last time you were able to hide a loli in it and this time its nearly as long as my living room table!Whats inside?Find out after the Jump!
You may remember how angry I was about the big price drop of Gifts Saber in the Sale but I was lucky enough to snuck up some figures I always wanted to order but didnt due to certain circumstances.Quite a few were in that Sale and I went all out and did some implusive buys.
Spot the mistake!
One of the figures in the picture wouldnt end up in my collection normally due to its heritage.Its actually pretty easy since I like to rant about the series on other peoples blogs (besides Haruhi ^^) So who is it?

Teana Lanster of Nanoha Fame!
So how did she end up in my order?Well thats actually pretty simple
Girl from Nanoha = Lame
Any girl from Nanoha + Akimbo Guns = Awesome
The emphasis is on Girl and Guns and NOT Nanoha 
Theres one more story about this order:Im pretty sure that you spotted Pixie Hiyori but I actually didnt wanna order her but Unity Mei.I was quite hectic during the HLJ sale and simply threw everything in the shopping cart that seemed interesting and deleted the items I didnt wanna order before ive sent the order off.In the end I had to decide between Mei or Hiyori and actually wanted to order Mei due to her awesome Yukata but I somehow must have messed up and clicked the wrong figure.Dont get me wrong Hiyori is very nice,I mean it was a close one between both,but It was a bummer when I got the payment request nevertheless.Thanks God I didnt delete both and accidently order a crappy figure ^^
The figures I was eyeing for quite some time were Baek Changpo (simply adore her,despite her simpleness),Space Pirate(of Masamune Shirow fame) and Seena.Im glad I waited this long with the purchase!
The order included my first QB Visual Battle book aswell and im happy that it finally arrived!It took quite some time until they had Nyx back in stock and shes my favorite girl after all.That reminds me that her appearance in the anime was rather limited so far.Meh…
Heres the secret behind the white box: Evangelion Sounddrop Gashapons!I snatched up a box of 10 for fun when they were on Sale at HLJ for a few Euros.I can finally hear Asuka saying Anata Baka whenever I want in crappy Sound Quality.You know whats really weird?Instead of giving one of the girls a second Sounddrop to star in they chose Shinji ” Dont run away” Ikari the master of whining as worthy candidate for 2 Sounddrops.Didnt someone tell Bandai that selling that Dude to the Otaku Audience wont sell as good as pretty much any person with boobs?
Atleast I finally have a keychain for my works keys
I hope to do some figure reviews soon since I have quite a few figures backlogged.The QB book is probably the first thing thatll be reviewed though.If anyones interested in the Sounddrops ill do a quick and dirty summary aswell
PS: I wondered if the size of the Ad in my sidebar is alright or annoying.I decided to allow a bigger Ad on my sidebar since the small one wasnt even worth mentioning.If im setting up Ads I might aswell do one that actually generates Cash.The results are quite weird though.Im getting an interracial relationship ad right now XD

Good pickups. Teana rocks, truly does with the dual gun action. Baek is still a favorite of mine long after getting her — looks better in person than in photos. Pixie is great too, I love her eyes. Every time I look at the sale page though, I never really find that much that interests me, so I guess I’m just looking at the wrong times.

muwahahaha, teana will be the seed of corruption that will lead you to nanoha fanboydom!! … … … ok fine, probably not. but if you think about it, nanoha’s staff is basically a magical rifle (or canon of death ^^;;)… so how about it, eh? … …ok fine, it’s a staff. orz

Nice collection of loot there. I picked up a little something in the first big HLJ anniversary sale. Too bad I missed the Gift Yoko in the last sale :-/ That Hiyori Pixie figure looks nice (and ecchi ^^;).

Pussyfoot, I have a question about tax for importing these kind of stuff. I collect gunpla and mecha stuff. Sometimes, when I buy gunpla, there is no custom tax. But sometimes, you need to pay ( you need to pick it up at zollamt,right?). My question is : How should I know if the stuff I bought going to be charged with tax?. Is it depend on the size of the package or the country?.

Great loot. I was tempted to get Pixie Hiyori as well with Unity Mei but considering I already have a full cast off figure, it was too soon to get another one. I don’t want to have the urge to start getting full cast-off figures as it’s not my style and I don’t intend to make it one. lol
So how much was the custom fee this time if u don’t mind me asking? xD

mmmm I can’t wait for my HLJ Sale Part #2 item! I want to see that Belldandy! I’ve recently realized I go too crazy buying figures when they’re cheap, I need to start controlling myself or I’m going to run out of space. I’m actually going to be selling some of my extra figures soon, I don’t have enough room.

I want – I want – but have to hold money safe right now. You have a great selection from HLJ. I did 2 orders while cash was plentiful and was excited when they all arrived. I have a couple of the Queen’s Blade books myself, but have decided to dive into the cards for a while.

I always say when you make one exception for whatever reason, it can happen again! Teana would be the beginning of your fall! As a side note, you can put Teana’s gun on any girls and she would become girl + gun! Hiyori is loving figure, you won’t regret getting her :3

These figures were from the Anniversary Sale and included many Top figures.To find one in the regular sales seems pretty difficult.Baek is one of those figures i fell in love with after seeing her in your review

I take it for granted that youre from Germany right?
It depends on various factors if you have to pay for your imported goods.
First Rule: Everything under 22 € is NEVER taxed
This Rule is a bit bendable depening how nice your tax officer is
(Books are actually taxed when they exceed 80-90€ [cant really remember])
Second Rule:
Everything above 22 € and below 150€ is taxed with 19% tax
That Tax does include shipping costs.Lets say say item costs 30 € and 10€ shipping youll have to pay a 19% tax of 40€
Third Rule:
Everything above 150€ will be taxed with 19% tax aswell as a corresponding EU tax.The EU tax rate depends on the item ordered.Figures and toys are taxed with 6%.I guess gunplas are taxed with 6% aswell since they are toys in the eyes of the tax officer.
Your orders usually have a little sticker with item worth information on the box and this should allow a quick tax processing.You usually dont have to pick it up at the zollamt since the Postamt is doing this since the beginning of the year.
In cases where the tax officer believes that the item is more worth than its labelled by the shop or its coming from suspicious countries (like china) youl have to pick it up at the zollamt with a copy of the bill to prove the price of the item.
HLJ for example labels their boxes honestly and the chance that youll have to pick it up at the Zollamt are pretty small.This means youll have to pay tax with nearly every order though.
E2046 labels their boxes with 20$ no matter whats inside.Chances that youl have to pick it up are rather high since they send from China and well a big box labeled with 20$ seems suspicious.If youre lucky you wont have to pay tax for your order thouh since it snucks through customs with a 20$ label and doesnt need to be taxed therefore

This was a pretty awesome sale and well justified for those awesome figures. You picked up some pretty awesome stuff during both sales. If you’re gonna get taxed, might as well get more for your money’s worth. I saw a bunch of stuff during the first sale and thought they were excellent prices, but I had already owned or preordered a whole lot of them which came out to the same price for me in the end.
How much was the Gift Yoko on sale for? I couldn’t bear shipping on her, so I just picked her up locally and picked out the nicest one, haha. I’m glad you posted the sale though because I was able to pick up two items that I couldn’t even get cheaper going through my normal route.
