1/8 Steel Princess Yumiru (NSFW)
A few of my Readers asked me to do an Outdoor Shooting with one of my cast-off figures and I am more than happy to fulfill that request with todays review!Lets check out Queen Bllade`s Steel Princess Yumiru after the Jump!
Some of my Readers might say now: But Blowfish, isnt that a Loli that got into your collection?
Of course not! Shes a Dwarve! A totally different thing!
We all know that dwarves work in mines,grow beards and drink beer until dawn.Dwarves are one of the manliest things on earth and therefore she cant be a loli.Manly man have real woman as wife/daughter.Dwarves just have the nasty habit to stay small and could be mistaken by the eyes of ignorant fools.
Still not convinced? Shes wielding a big weapon.Females with big weapons are awesome and Lolis arent at all.
And last but not least: I ordered her and since Blowfish is known for not beeing into lolis she cant be loli!
As you can see I have valid points that are as robust as adamantium and show that I am right and you are wrong.
Yumiru is one of the participating warriors in Queens Blade and hailing from some dwarven kingdom that is blacksmithing the best weapons to kick ass of other busty females in ecchi situations.Thats all I know about her background and I dont think that theres more to be known.
This particular Yumiru is part of the recent re-releases MegaHouse is doing under their Special Edition labelling.Its basically the same figure as the regular release with a bonus like a second weapon.Yumiru comes with a second weapon thats supposed to be a hammer if im not mistaken.I didnt include the Hammer in this review due to my lazyness though.
Yumiru is typical MegaHouse quality and doesnt stray from the norm.Upon closer inspection youll notice seamlines in her drills and arms but as long as shes on your shelf/in your cabinet you wont notice anything.The Paintjob does the job but lacks the detail of never MH releases.Her Axe is made of ABS and looks and feels kinda cheap.Her right wrist has a joint that allows it to be rotated and thats the reason why the Axe feels cheap.They had to make it Hollow so that the joint isnt under too much stress.
Whats a QB review done by me without my usual nag about the cast-off mechanism.As usual the figure comes without a cast-off manual and unlike with Shizuka I had once again a hard time to cast her off.Exposing her boobs was as easy as munching some delicious cake but her Pantsu gave me a nightmare.Between one of her Boots and her Leg was some plastic wrapper so I knew that the leg will part there.I came to the conclusion that the same can be done with the other leg and I tried several minutes to remove the boot.It didnt come off and in the end I tried it with brute force….Luckily I didnt tear her apart in the process…In the End I head the bright Idea to look at the Pantsu itself and TADA! Provlem solved ^^;;;;;;;;;
On another note: I think that the Cast-off of her boobs is kinda lame.It doesnt make much sense to me when only the boobs are exposed and the rest of her outfit remains the same.
BTW: This Review answers Optics question if all QB Girls wear thongs <(^_^)b

I went to the ruins of an old farm from 1300 to take these pictures.When I think of dwarves I think of Stones and Moss and all that kinda fantasy crap.There isnt much left of that farm but it was enough for the shot.I accidently forgot Yumirus Pantsu at home since Yoko was still wearing her on her head for unknown reasons (I think I was so pissed at the panties that I didnt bother to put them back after the long fight and decided that they make a good accessory for Yoko).Thats the reason why I took some indoor pictures aswell so that youll be able to enjoy her panties in all her glory.

Ive recently found something very cool and I think this is the right stuff to cool you guys down.This is probably pretty old stuff but I stumbled across Plamoo`s Stop Motion Animation using Actionfigures like Figmas,Busou Shinkis and even Gunplas.Its truly amazing what this fella is pulling off.He achieves amazing fluidity that made my jaw drop.I wonder how many pictures he has to take for one second of motion.

Nice pictures btw; like how you used the background to fit in the theme~ ^^ Even though I don’t know much about this character there are several instances where she’s mistaken as a loli, and I’ve even seen people getting turned off after being corrected that it’s a lilo ^^;
That brings me to a question: what would a loli dwarf be like?
Didn’t know that plamoo is back again! Thanks for bringing that up; he’s been away for sometime before, and I haven’t subscribed to him so I didn’t know that he’s got a new one. Plamoo definitely does brilliant stop motion videos, and I remember how his earlier works show statistics (from video description) on how many frames were used etc – it’s pretty crazy just reading those I have to say.

looks like it was the sun was out in force when you were shooting outdoors… lighting was pretty hard. ‘course the nice outdoor feel to the pics makes up for it ^^
agree that the cast off looks kinda awkward. think airi’s my favorite in full cast off mode so far… then again so many girls have been released i should browse through more reviews…

Dude it’s so hard to visit your site these days! So many NSFW figures and I blog at work! Well anyway I was REAL close to buying this figure, I had no idea it was a cast off at the time, I just really liked her curls and the axe. I have nothing against owning nude figures, just don’t want any myself. Plus if I don’t like them naked and I just keep their clothes on that’s a waste! Figure companies charge so much extra for the nudity feature! I want my money’s worth.

I wouldnt really recommend to watch QB unless you are interested in the charcters`background.Yumiru isnt that interesting character-wise and has got that annoying loli “I cant speak properly” fault.

Haha,indeed some people were rather turned off.I cant remember on whose Blog i mentioned it but the owner actually dislikes dwarves ^^
As for how young dwarves look..I cant talk only for the terry pratchett view on that matter but its like this:
Everyone wears beards and the usual dwarv attire.Women and Man and even child ren already have a three day beard.Those young ones that rebel against traditions wear dresses and shave.I guess Yumiru would fall into the latter category.

Dont get me wrong Im not buying those figures for their cast-off feature.The only time my figures are cast-offed is when they are unboxed to remove plastic wrappings and for my reviews.Its a shame that these features are drive the prices of the figures up and often make the figure look worse due to bulky clothes

I just got this figure, I’ll prolly take pictures of her this weekend, to be uploaded in a couple of weeks when I need a figure post to go online
I’m deeply disturbed by how anatomically incorrect her lower bits are. I think I will never display her without her panties, which are kinda weird in themselves.

Too bad that you didn’t make pics with the hammer: this new weapon is the reason why people ordered this special version. As I’m concerned I preordered it but I canceled it… she was supposed to be my 1st QB’s figure, but it will finally be Airi special version who will do the cleaning in my room with her bonus broom (if I do not cancel my preorder).
I also loved plamoo’s stop motion vids. I will take a look at his youtube chan. And I have to do the BrainHex test too

I really wanted this a while ago. Cute girl+ big weapon always manages to win me over without fail.
Oh, and I got Mastermind on the BrainHex test. It also said “No Fear: You do not enjoy feeling afraid, preferring to feel safe or in control” Which is pretty true. I get nervous when the ghosts close in on me in PAC MAN. Just imagine me playing Left 4 Dead…

Thanks for the great photos and review. I’ve wanted to read it for a while, but I go through my blogroll at work (yes, that’s what I do) most of the time. ^^;;
I, too, was an ignorant fool. It was YOU who broke the news to me that she’s a dwarf, and not a loli, which led to me canceling her pre-order!! I’d take a loli over a dwarf any day of the week. Loli’s with ANY weapon kicks ass, they just kick more asses with bigger ones.
I never knew her pantsu was removable, not that it helps the figure in any way since her shirt is not removable…MegaHouse should’ve redesigned the cast-off on this re-release. But she looks really nice, just would’ve looked better if she was a loli.
Hmm…I’m usually a nice player unless I get pvp’d and camped, then I get cranky…SLAY THEM ALL! is how I play. ^^
