Ultra Vibration Valkyrie Mirim (NSFW)
I have no Idea what an Ultra Vibration Valkyrie is supposed to do on the battlefield but who cares when youre having a chainsaw-sword wielding babe infront of you?Heres my quick review of Megahouse`s second entry of QB`s Rebellion line!
When I saw the promo shots of Mirim a few months ago I immediately knew that I had to buy her.I didnt find her pose particulary good and her design is actually a bit too cute for my taste but the sword( Heavy Metal F.A.K.K. 2 anyone?) that shes wielding is just too badass to pass her.
Mirim is a member of the Rebel Brigade under the command of princess Ashlotte .To our suprise the Brigade`s members are all scantily clad females and make up the third faction in the QB Universe.Ashlotte and Mirim were the first two girls of the Brigade to get a regular figure treatment and the limited edition of the third Rebellion Battlebook wich features 2 girls ,namelyYui and Vante, has a Yuit Figure done by MegaHouse as a Bonus.Im pretty sure that were gonna see more members of the Brigade pop up sooner than later.
Megahouse delivers the usual solid quality we are used to,with some extra effort put into her armors finish and the wings on her legs & head.My biggest beef with her design is that her crossed legs look like she has to take a pee urgently. Those legs make the cast-off process a major pain in the butt since the leotard has to slide through the itsy-bitsy tiny space between her legs.It goes without saying that MH didnt provide a cast-off instruction and youll have to go the usual trial and error route until Mirim is in her birthday suit.
One of the straps that connects with her thong is particulary hard to put in position and among all those Reviews Ive read so far the only one who managed to connect it correctly is Foobarbaz.Im amazed that noone mentioned it so far since its a quite annoying flaw in my opinion.Its on her back and youll usually wont notice but it still annoys me.If anyone has a hint on how to connect it to the matching part gimme a call.
The figure comes with a vast variety of parts and can be combined in a few variations.Her Visor can be worn on her head,face or completley removed for example.Another cool feature is that youre able to rotate her head and left arm wich allows a limited poseability.
The Overall package is great and shes among my favorite Queens Blade figures so far despite her flaws.

Thanks to HLJ I was able to aquire Information why shes an Ultra Vibraton Valkyrie:
“She’s known as the “Ultra Vibration Valkyrie”–because that armor of hers is prone to attacking whoever wears it by vibrating when the wearer least expects it!”
That explains her pose…She doesnt need to pee but gets a healthy dose of vibration from her armour ^^;;;;;

So far, I don not find this figure to my taste. The photos that circulated on the net does not put its face value. So I decided not to buy. But your review has made me change my mind. His face is finally nice and I love the little wings on his armor.
MegaHouse always does a good job. but apparently the latest Queen’s Blade, it has some small problems with the installation. I had problems with Ashelotte and Reina.

Queen’s Blade Rebellion? Is this new?
And wow, Ultra Vibration lol what a name ^^;
Something odd about this figure – face and body don’t seem to match so well IMHO, and yea the pose… It’s not so much I’ve expected as an armed valkyrie o_o;; Btw does this come with no instructions for the castoff like the rest of the QB figures?
Nevertheless I like her gear – the sword and shield are fab (looks badass!), and I really like the visor too (how you can the face covered or uncovered)!

uguuu i wish i had cash to burn on the queen’s blade gals… mirim is yet another solid entry to the qb line up. alas it’s not like i’m super into the series so i’m hesitant to dump any more money into it.
at any rate, fun figure ^^ lots going on with her armor and wicked looking sword…excellent!

Love this Queen’s Blade figure, she looks very nice and well finished. Don’t see the need for a cast-off mode as she looks perfect in full armor. The weapons and armor look superbly detailed actually.
The leg/knee pose is indeed odd. Looks like they wanted her pose to make it seem as if she was absorbing an impact on her shield but it comes off a bit wrong alas. Amazing figure though. ^^

To be honest Im not really interested in fully cast-off figures either.It just raises the price and It makes the figures clothes look pretty bulky in most cases.Megahouse does a good job with their cast-off though

I had my fair share of problems with reina aswell.The holes for the strap pegs were to small in 2 cases and i had to widen them manually.In the beginning i tried to force them in and nearly broke a strap ^^;;

I cant really tell the difference between regular Queens Blade and Queens Blade Rebellion.Queens Gate Characters are Characters from other franchises inserted into the QB Universe while Rebellion Characters seem to be just of another faction in the QB Universe.
I wish there would be more english language material about QB.I always have to guess when it comes to this.
MH doesnt provide any instructions as usual wich can be a big pain in the butt.

If she wasn’t released in August, I might’ve added her to my collection…but she was.
I love the new MegaHouse quality, much improved from the days of Nxy; I thank the figure gods for that. But they really need to put instructions on their cast-off figures, unless their plan is to have us break them so we buy another one…then it makes sense.
Have you had luck with the strap? My guess would be that you need to pull it really slug (both her g-string and the strap) to make the ends meet. You should know what I mean; it looks like you got some room to move it.

Yeah,MH definately improved over the time and im really grateful for that.They cater to my taste ALOT and it would be a pain to have only crappy figures in my cabinet.Whenever Im reviewing a MH figure im ranting about that but sadly noone from MH seems to read my blog

Another QB figure as expected from ur love of QB. What was again u told me about why like QB figures? Busty ladies was it? xD
Megahouse did a great job and the armor details looks superb but u and I both know why QB figures are of no interest to me.
I don’t mind reading but I do mind having a QB figure in my collection. lol

Ive finished reading the 10 chapter illustrated story from Hobby Japan yesterday and Mirim is actually a quite poor girl thats beeing quite violated.This whole vibrating armour is acclerated by an alchemist stone thats inserted into her….well yeah you can probably guess ^^;;;
