Annelotte  is the main heroine of the Queens Blade Rebellion storyline and shares as Leina, the heroine of the first Queens Blade, the same fate of beeing a a pretty boring, good hearted maiden that moves out to change the world for the better. I sometimes wonder if theres some sorta secret requirement for main characters that they must be as interesting as plain joghurt?

I assume that even Hobby Japan realized that a Character without any distinct characteristics makes a boring  heroine and  decided to add a little flavor by giving her a “dark” secret. The Character with dark secret itself isnt terribly exciting but if we stick to the joghurt metaphor were having strawberry joghurt now.  It wont make your tastebuds explode by its flavour but its better than plain joghurt any day.

Before I continue with this post Ill put this  warning ahead: QB Rebellion is the follow up to QB and therefore some of the information in this post may be considered spoiler.

If you are interested in a short rundown about the general setting of Queens Blade Rebellion I encourage you to read this post beforehand.

Annelotte is the heir to the Magrave-Kreuz Kingdom and was for some unknown reason raised as a boy infront of the public eye. It was after her kingdom and the people living in it were crushed by the new Queen of Gainos,  Claudette , that she decided to stop hiding her gender and to fight for justice by founding an Rebellion Army.

These are the rather uninteresting facts about her so lets take a closer look at the more interesing  (spoilerific) ones:

Annelotte is a Maijin which is a half-breed between a human and a demon which are tremendously powerful and coldhearted when awakened. Sounds familiar? Aldra, the former Queen of Gainos, was also a Maijin and was in search of her younger sister. It probably doesnt come as a suprise that Annelotte has a older sister whose whereabouts are unknown.  HMMMMMMMMMMMmmmm….

Did I also mention that she can summon her steed Ambrosius from the Underworld at will? That sounds pretty awesome to me!

Annelotte has been designed by Eiwa and her Maijin Blood only shows twice in her Visual Combat Book. Her full Demon Form is visible behind the Dustcover as her 2p Version including her goldenn Armor :

In a more subtle way her rotten blood also shows in the reflection of a enemy blade:

Notice how her  armour remains the same? I assume that even when she isnt in her demon form her reflection will show her true self sorta like with vampires or whatever it was.

Back when Annelotte was announced I was a bit on the slow side and missed out on ordering through a proxy and feared that I might miss out on her. In the end I had to order her through Toyslogic. I had my fair share of trouble with them and to be honest I wouldnt be doing business with them again. I dont know what theyre smoking in their warehouse but I bet it would sell pretty well on the street.

The Figure is like all QB figures cast-offable and in the Megahouse tradition its an absolute pain in the ass. Unlike with real girls its pretty easy to take her clothes off but getting them back on is where youll sweat tears. Not only did I break off one of the pegs while I was trying to get her skirt back on, I also had some golden paint transfer onto her skin while I was trying to slide her skirt under the top part of her armour. Luckily you wont notice the broken off peg nor the small paintmarks and like hell Id ever cast her off again but still its annoying to know that you did some damage to a limited figure.

This is where I am sometimes questioning the neccessity of cast-off but then I am remembering that people like boobs.

One of the first things that people think when seeing Annelotte is that shell become a leaner but I cant notice any change after 1/2 year of displaying her. One should be rather on the lookout for how she is attached to the base: her foot slides into a little plastic part that is then attached to the base. Id support Annelotte with one hand while moving her around to prevent her from falling of the base since the little plastic part is rather loosely attached to it.

These are the only negative things about Annelotte though since Megahouse`s Kibayashi Norio did a very eyecatching job with her.In fact they even sculpted her a new  awesome face to accurately represent her Demon Form including pointy demon ears.I admit that I was a bit indifferent about her Original Sculpt but the pose works alot better with her 2P Version and its sinister face. This way I imagine her leaping infront of her prey shortly before striking it down while I cant really tell what original Annelotte is supposed to do there ^^;;;;;

While I like the details on her armour and sword one of my favorite things about her,besides the face, is the flow of her long black hair.

The Paintjob is excellent and while a golden armour would normally break the balance of a figure it works out very well with her since it underlines her very pale skin beautifully. The very onesided colour theme of gold and pale makes her eyes pop out even more and something subtle as the colour of her lips asks for attention.While not subtle at all the biggest speck of colour on this figure would be her purple underpants which I absolutely approve of.

I can see alot of people disliking this figure for its more radical theme but thats where the beauty of her lies in for me. Pale Skin,Black Hair, Sinister Face  <3<3<3<3

Its been some time since Ive dont a figure review so it was quite hard to get this together and even then I feel like the review part of this is way too short. I hope to get back into this quickly but then theres hardly any figures I have on preorder atm and Ill have to rely on my backlog until then.

This was the first time I was doing a figure review with the recently purchased SB-900 and I must say that I really like how these pictures turned out even though I used only one lightsource. Its good to know that the Ezybox also does a good job at home for something as profane as a figure shooting. Its far from beeing perfect atm but thats what my current setup is looking like:

It was a long and hard fight this time…I capitulated infront of her many times and thought Id never be able to make it.Who would have thought that getting a girl to put on some clothes would be this hard?Sure,I enjoy a nice pair of boobs like every healthy young lad but sometimes you want to have her to wear something classy like a maid outfit with a see-through dress.Lets honour the Clockwork Automatons outfit right after the jump!

Lets start with a brief description of Vingt before I start to rant about this figure:

Vingt is the Clockwork Automaton,built by Huits mother, that never leaves Huits side and is bodyguard,friend and assistant to Huit in one person.The key Huit carries close to her heart is used to wind up Vingt from time to time to keep her going full power throughout their adventures.Huit issues orders to Vingt via Runes written on the “remote control” she carries around.

Will she continue to fight for the good cause or might her remote control fall into the wrong hands?

Vingt is  a QB Rebellion figure which means that you can strip her down to all her full glory ( speak boobs).Megahouse doesnt provide any cast-off instructions as usual and I doubt they ever will but her cast off progress is rather straightforward.This is partially thank to the fact that Vingt is semi-poseable and her limbs and head are easily detached from her body.After that you simply remove the apron,dress & top-pantsu combination and youre done.The top ,which is made out of rubber-like material, may remind you of Mirims Outfit which was a major pain to remove thanks to her tightly closed  thighs.Luckily her detachable legs  saves us from going through the same soul crushing experience again and you can strip her naked easily

Sounds like a QB figure with an incredible smooth cast-off mechanic and in fact it is unless you want her to get  dressed again.The problem lies in the rubber-like material of her top which is very soft and tends to give in when you want to push the pins into their female counterparts.

The Top wraps very tightly around her chest and allows very little movement making the cast-on process even harder than it already is thanks to the material it is made of.It took me literally several weeks to get that top back on her because of the high temperatures in my room making the already soft material even softer.The top features 7 pins  wheres 3 are located at each side of it and one connects the bottom part with the panty section. I felt like a bomb defusion specialist becasue it takes alot of concetration  and tact to connect all parts without making others slip out again.

I could have screamed when I had all side pins connected and only the panty pin was left only to have several others slip out of it hole during the last one.In the end I decided that gray hair isnt worth the trouble and left her panty piece unconnected. Whos gonna notice anyway?

The Cast-On trouble aside theres very little to be concerned about this figure.Some may have had their doubts when they heard that Vingt will be an” articulated” figure but Megahouse did a fine job not sacrificing the looks for poseability.Furthermore they didnt raise her price into insane heights like GSC does with their Actsta figures.

So how does the Articulation look like? To put it bluntly:  the limbs arent glued to the body and are therefore rotateable.Each limb has a one axis joint in the elbow/knee area and allows some very basic movement but to call it articulated is a bit of a stretch.Furthermore her outfit restrains her movement even more,especially in the leg area, therefore youll get the best results with her wearing her birthday suit.

Megahouse even  threw in an extra hand and poison gas hand adapter to further incorporate the “action figure” feel which is quite cool in my book.Since were already talking extras it should be mentioned that she also comes with a base for Huit and her remote which can be attached to Huits arm.

Vingts base is kind of unique since it isnt your run by the mill peg into foot base but she basically rests on two sockets which are fixed to the base  and only her right foot is fixated via a pin in one of the sockets.This may sound very unstable but from my experience the few limited poses you can do on that base leave her pretty steady.

Whats left to talk about?Paintjob and Sculp are typical Megahouse quality which means very nice craftmaship which should make any figure collector happy aslong as you dont expect Alter Quality.I personally love the freckles on her face but thats just a tiny tidbit which shouldnt influence the overall figures expression ^^

One Thing I DID notice about the sculpt and is that Megahouse seems to try out new waters since they gave her a very,very delicate ,only noticeable upon closeup, mons pubis. This probably doesnt sound like a big deal to most people but I find cast-offable panties pretty senseless if a  barbie crotch is waiting for you.The Only other instance of sculpted female anatomy I know of from the QB line is Melona and she isnt cast-off and therefore safe.

I wonder if  Megahouse will pursue this path further but I am looking forward to their next effort now.

This was actually supposed to be a double review of Huit and Vingt from Queen`s Blade Rebellion but thanks to the heat I could only finish my Huit review and had to stop Vingt`s review in the middle.Thats why we focus today on the little elf tactician of the Rebellion Army right after the Jump!

Before I continue this review I wanna clear some things up before this gets too confusing.If youve come across Huit or Vingt before youve probably seen them written as Yuit and Vante.Their names are based on the french words for the numbers 8 ( Huit ) and 9 ( Vingt ) and the japanese adopted them in their typical phonetic way making them Yuit and Vante.Since their names are based on the french numbers I am keeping the correct french writing instead of the japanese spelling.I do know that this is actually “wrong” but I cant stand the thought of writing huit as yuit.

Youd feel weird spelling Computer in the correct japanese way as konpyuutaa too,right?

Vingt and Huit

Vingt is from the tribe of the little elves who are specialized into alchemy and live in a secluded area far away from wood elves like Alleyne & co.Shes the daughter of  Great Alchemist Cyan,who happens to be a close friend of the weaponsmith Cattleya,and mastered the exceptional skills of her father already at a young age.The Neighbouring Kingdom of the Margrave-Kreuz family has close bonds with the little elves and their children Annelotte and Huit grew up playing with each other becoming childhood friends.Annelotte had to play the role of the crown prince, despite her gender, to keep order in her kingdom.Annelotte saw herself as the kind,big brother of Huit and spoiled her quite a bit throughout the years and even until today Annelotte remains the nii-san in Huit`s heart.

While Huit has a gentle heart and is kind to the ones close to her shes still a prodigy tactician and resorts to cold hearted tactics when the cause justifies the means.While she is able to defend herself she mostly resorts to her Alchemy powered clockwork Automaton Vingt who she has a close bond with despite her robotic nature.

Who would have thought that Annelotte and Huit meet each other again in  a twist of fate thats so much different from their childhood days?

Thats the short rundown of Huits background story and I highly recommend you to read the illustrated QB Rebellion Stories translated by Fabio for more insight into the characters which can be found here.

Huit is a special case when it comes to Megahouse`s Excellent Model Core QB lineup since she came bundled with the limited Version of the Huit/Vingt Visual Combat book.Upon closer look it only makes sense  to release her bundled though since a little elve is indeed little and probably wouldnt have sold well as a stand alone figure.

Megahouse recently released the accompanying Vingt figure that comes with an extra stand for Huit and Vingt`s remote control so keep in mind that the remote control you see in these pictures isnt included with Huit per default.As already mentioned earlier I intended to make this a double review but the weather made the cast-on process for Vingt impossible and I can only present you Huit for today.

Huit is the usual Megahouse deal meaning that the figure can be stripped of those annoying clothes and displayed in all her naked glory.Unlike a certain Half-Elf who likes to go out butt naked,shes clothed down there in the newest elven leave fashion leaving no room for barbie crotch perverts

Considering her small size the paintwork on this figure is remarkable and doesnt need to hide behind her big sisters.Sure she doesnt hold a thing against master pieces like Risty but its still a great paintjob for a size of about 14 cm.You have four options of displaying her: naked,clothed, clothed with cape or the all new popular naked with cape.

The only other optional part that comes with her at default is the key thats needed to rewind Vingt.

I was especially impressed with the attention that went into the golden design on her dress aswell as the little translucent wings on her head

Her pose is a bit boring all by herself but honestly she meant to be displayed with Vingt anyways and it changes from boring to cool when shes commanding the poseable  Vingt to attack the enemy but thats prolly just me

Theres just one real drawback to this figure and thats the fact that shes prone to falling when shes  not wearing her cape.She seems to be leaning in some of my pictures but that isnt the fact.Shes just hard to balance without cape and seems to be a bit tilted witout it.

Before I continue with the pictures Ive gotta say that I had quite a few problems framing Huit since shes so small in size.In the end I decided to use my 55mm Prime to shoot her because it takes sharper pictures despite the fact that I cant get as close as with my 18-55mm.What do you guys prefer? Sharp Pictures or bigger closeups? I could of course try switching between glasses to get the best of both worlds ^^;;;

Ahhhh….before I forget it….I do know that these pictures arent very interesting with its 360 Degree Rotation but her small size and pose didnt allow too many interesting angles.I already had to go very lowangle to make her fill out the frame enough.I guess this is where a Macro Glass is highly desireable.

Its been quite some time since my Blog has seen any new content hasnt it?I still need to tweak a few things here and there but I thought its a good idea to give people a reason for coming back to my blog.Megahouse`s Risty has been waiting to be reviewed  for about half a year and shes the right caliber to celebrate the Rebuild of Flying Pussyfoot.

Are you ready to get your ass kicked?

Risty has always been one of the wilder characters in  the Queen`s Blade Line Up representing a mischievous thief that steals from the rich and shares part of her loot with the poor.

Risty became a War orphan at a young age and was taken in by the head of a gang of bandits.After years passed and she became a formidable woman her new father figure was killed during an internal power struggle among the bandits.This made her open her eyes and part with those backstabbers to found her own group of chivalrous bandits to bring peace back to the people that they dont have to experience the same fate as she does.

The Anime prefers to add a tear jerker story about some poor Orphanage that needs some serious funding but her motivation stays the same throughout the anime.

Risty is one of the few Characters of Queen`s Blade that relies on brute strength and has a physical build that represents the force of nature that she is.Theres a thin line that you walk with girls like these but Eiwa did a good job with his original design.She may be older than the usual pedobait and can crush you inbetween her thighs but shes still cute and you would probably enjoy it.

Jun Tsukasa on the other hand took Eiwa`s Design and turned Risty into a scarred,battle experienced warrior that emits a very heavy aura of superiority. I still wouldnt mind beeing crsuhed between her thighs but I fear that I am in the minority ^^;;

Megahouse deserves some praise to not go the easy route and use the widely popular Risty designed by Eiwa but Jun Tsukasa`s Artwork for their as of now last figure of their Queen`s Blade Excellent Model Core Lineup.I still hope theyll release a Claudette and Irma inbetween the Queen`s Blade Rebellion Lineup someday but until then shell be their final Queens Blade figure.

Even though I hope that she wont be the final Queen`s Blade Figure from Megahouse shes is more than worthy of the title since shes incorporates all of Megahouse`s strengths and makes her their finest QB release.The Sculpt is absolutely spot on and I have to praise Mohio`s  first work as sculptor for Megahouse.Mohio seems to be pretty new to the game but I assure him a bright future as their Sculptor.I cant wait to see his work on the upcoming Siggy while normal people might be more interested in his upcoming Klan Klang.The Paintjob doesnt disappoint either with an excellent application and great colour choices: her gear looks rugged,her hair fierce and her body is well tanned.Some may be bothered about the progredient colour shift  from red to greyish of her hair but to me its a pretty cool effect.

There arent many things id improve but If I could choose one thing id change it would probably be her scars.I absolutely love scars and I wish theyd be a  bit more prominent like in Tsukasa`s artwork but thats just nitpicking on my side.

The Cast-Off Function is rather painless and you dont need to have a master of Cast-Offology to stare at her bare chest.Ive seen alot worse cast-offs by Megahouse and the only thing that was a bit tiresome were the pegs of her top that required quite some pulling.

As usual my QB Figures sit butt-naked in my Detolf until their reviewed because I find the cast-off such a hassle.It speaks Volumes that I managed to get her clothed again after half a year without having to think too much about it.

Whats my Verdict? Risty is a excellent figure thats among the best of the last few months and shouldnt be ignored because of her impressive physique.Grab her when you have the opportunity,you wont regret it.

Lets talk now about one thing I noticed when I unpacked my Risty: Megahouse seems to test assemble their figures with their weapons.When I tried to insert the Buckler Shield into her left hand I noticed that something was stuck in her hand and it proved to be the knob of her Bucklers handle.My Shield came with the knob thats why I am guessing that they test fit the weapons before packing the figure.I hope that they use prototype weaponry for test fitting otherwise some poor sob may have a copy without a knob ^^;;;;;

The following pictures were taken with my new Sigma 1,4 50mm lens and even though I didnt buy it for figure photography I am more than happy with the results.As usual I am grateful for constructive criticism and hints.

While her pose is rather static, which usually doesnt make great figure poses,her aura of superiority makes this an very intriguing pose.

There are very few occasions where I prefer the cast-offed figure over the scantily clad figure but Risty`s physique is sculpted so excellent that its a shame to hide those behind those dreaded clothes.Even if youre no fan of naked figures I highly recommend checking out these pictures to truly grasp the astounding work of Mohio.

When people hear the name Ikki Tousen most people think of tits and that isnt doing the Manga/Anime any justice.The franchise has alot more to offer besides the wonderful world of bankunyu,like butts.Therefore ill declare today as the Butt Awareness Day ( Sorry Mom) and present you todays figure,Sonsaku Hakufu Changing Clothes Version by New Line, after the Jump.

I could write a long paragraph about Ikki Tousen and its characters but thats as necessary as a plug up my butt.Everybody including their granmothers uncle knows this series and either hates or loves it.Beeing the pervert I am, I of course love the series and its well endowed characters.If you are genuinely interested in the series do yourself a favor and ignore the crappy Anime Season 3+ and stick to the Manga.Make a big turn around the Tokyopop Serialization though since the translator took crack while trying to make the Manga as unreadable as possible.

Todays Figure is the Happy Go Lucky mainprotagonist of the series Sonsaku Hakufu right in the middle of changing clothes.Normally she wouldnt be bothered by someone peeping at her but this figure aims for the more cute/shocked look instead of staying faithful to the character.Her rather round face with large puppy eyes underlines that look even more but this was also the case with the prototype so it isnt that much of a deal since you know what youre getting into.

Her Sculptor,Goemon,seems to be pretty obsessed with swimsuit figures since he nearly exclusively does them with a few exceptions like New Lines Black Lagoon Figures.Maybe he is recieving all the impure thoughts that Ishikawa Goemon the XII. is trying to ban from his mind?

I am not a big fan of swimsuit figures since they are rather plain compared to completley dressed figures and demand a good paintjob and finish to get good sense of depth.I applaud Goemon for the great work on the back of the figure but could smack him for his work on the figures hair.The hair gives a sense of movement,as if she is turning around to look at the person that stepped in the room, while she was changing but it still looks straggly and pretty rough in some places.I give Goemon the benefit of doubt for the roughness of her hair,since this could have happened during the molding process but the straggly hair is a flaw from his side.

While were talking hair I might aswell talk a bit about how this figure reached me.You may remember my rambling about DHL`s lousy customer service and how a figure got returned to HLJ.Well,this was the figure that had to be sent twice to me and sadly she got damaged during transit: her ahoge broke off. Noemally I would have to send the figure back to get a replacement,but this is the limited release of the figure and it was naturally out of stock by the time it arrived on my doorstep.In the end HLJ offered a 20% discount off the figures price and I had to glue the Ahoge back in its place.In a sad turn of events the glue merged with some of the PVC and left a visible white line where the ahoge snapped off. Quite a complicated backstory eh?

As mentioned a few lines before this is the limited release and features blue undergarments unlike the original release with its boring white colour.The whole thing goes under the name Irisawa Adult colour Version and I wonder what makes blue panties more adult than white ones.Both Versions feature half opened bras that allow a peek at her nipples. All perverts can rest assured that this is typical Ikki Tousen release that knows how to cater to its audience.

The rest of her sculpt is sure to please fans of well bosomed beauties and I fully approve of Goemons work in that area.Theres one thing I dont like about Goemons sculpt besides the hair and thats the way he sculpted her mouth.It isnt very defined and painted with a small white line supposed to resemble her teeth.This is probably just a matter of personal prefence but i still thought I should mention it.

This was my first New Line Figure which I mainly ordered because I admired their Black Lagoon figures and I am kind of uncertain about their quality.The Body Sculpt itself is great but I have the feeling that Goemon or New Line (whoevers at fault) is having problems with rendering fine details in the quality required to make this a truly great figure.I never saw the Black Lagoon figures in Person so I cant tell if this is true but if anyone has more information on this be sure to let me know.

This isnt really figure related but since today topic is Ikki Tousen I might aswell throw in some pictures of my newly acquired Magatama.I bought it from the Ebay Seller Wombat1138 and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I opened the box.She seems to be a seller that truly cares about the stuff shes selling since it was packaged in yet another little handfolded box.Its nothing special but still it made me quite happy

I cant believe I didnt join Twitter earlier because sometimes miracles do happen.A few days after Ive posted my Review of Kotone-chan I noticed a huge income of traffic from Twitter and it turned out to be from Keumaya the maker of the figure! It feels really,really great to be acknowledged by the maker of a figure and I can finally feel assured that I didnt buy a Bootleg from Ebay but a genuine figure.

At first he twittered in Japanese but later he even asnwered me in English. This is so awesome and I am never gonna wash my Twitter again XD

He also found Tiers review through me and wondered why we gaijin cant seem to assemble her correctly ^^;;;;

What would the world be without nurses? It`d be a sad,sad place where the porn industry would be void of one of its Top 10 plot devices,strippers had one outfit less to choose,adolescent`s wet dreams would be less colourfull and I guess some people would die aswell…. People have always been fascinated by uniforms and there are certain expectations and hopes linked to these outfits.Certain outfits signal strength while others appear to give people the impression that theyre slutty and easy to lay. I was introduced to Kotone-chan by Tier about two months ago and I immediately wanted to get my dirty grubs on her.This is kinda unique since her chest department doesnt fall into my usual hunting scheme but her outfit,pose and hyper happy face make up for those non-existant boobs.

To be honest the fact that the maker, Doujin Circle Keumaya,got thrown out of Comiket for having too detailed genitalia also played a big role in my decision to hunt down one of their figures.^^;;;;;;;;;;

The Comiket Incident resulted in a huge overstock of 3 of their figures ( Kotone-chan,Pink and Black Goat) and they landed shortly after on Ebay for a modest price compared to the usual price tag they come with.I have always been very hestitant when it comes to Ebay because I suspect most of the professional sellers there to be bootleggers but in the end I gave into the urge when I found her on Ebay for a measly 29 pounds.

While I was at it I poisoned my brother into ordering one aswell and we prayed that the seller isnt a bootlegger.A short time later a well packaged box arrived with small boxes inside.Beeing the lousy brother I am i picked out the better looking box for myself and gave my brother the slightly dented one.

In the end I kinda regretted that decision because my brother got a perfect item while mine has some piant splodges on her.Thats Karma Baby!

I cant 100 percently say that this is a genuine figure but her box looks very legit and shes packed in bubblewrap with the different body parts beeing in little plastic bags.Bootlegs usually suffer from rough edges around highly detailed areas like the hair and she has a rather crisp headsculpt including her eye decals making her seem like a legit copy.

The fact that her paintjob isnt the smoothest in some areas with a few paint spots on her shirt and headpiece make her lean more in the bootleg direction but I guess you cant apply Alter standards to a doujin figure maker.My brothers copy has a smoother paintjob and I guess mine was just a case of sloppy paintwork.

I was at first a bit shocked when I picked my parcel up from the postoffice because it was tiny and I feared that the Seller forgot to add two figures.In the end I was proven wrong but its amazing how space efficent it is to sell your figures in parts ton assemble.The different parts are bubble wrapped in respective plastic bags and a handy guide (DEAR MEGAHOUSE: A Doujin Figure Maker is able to add an guide to their figures while you cant.Whats wrong here huh?) that explain the seperate steps to your very own ecchi nurse that`ll inject you with her happyness.In theory the respective steps are as easy as cake but reality looks a bit different.The part where her Upper and Lower Torso connect is as tight as a first semester nun.At first I tried to forced it in,while is used one of her legs as a countersupport and I “broke” off one of her boots.Luckily it was only a case of weak glue but remember you gotta be gentle with PVC and Real Girls otherwise you might regret it.

In the end I used my trusty hair dryer and heated her up.She soon loosened up a and I was able o put it in with only a little force.I continued to do so with the rest of her bodyparts and it went as smooth as a baby`s butt.Another thing I noticed is that you should be careful with the few clothes she wearing aswell since they give a fair amount of paint transfer in certain areas.I especially noticed this with her belt which left some poo-coloured stains on her but I bet theyre easy to remove with some rubbing alcohol.

While you are assembling her you gotta watch out with those syringes since theyre actually quite sharp and it actually stings quite good.I noticed this while assembling her gun and didnt follow the instruction that tells you to put the remaining syringes into her belt before adding it to her.I imagine this to be a very painful experience and chose to go against the rules ^^

You could argument that Keumaya is cheap/lazy for equipping all of their figures with the same lower torso/extremeties but who can be angry at them when theyve created such an awesome butt like this?Whatever figure youll buy,youll get an awesome butt along with your prefered Cup Size.They range from non-existant to gigantic and are sure to please any fetish except normal sized breasts.I doubt that youd want normal sized breasts anyway since you are reading this very blog who isnt well known for posting about normal girls ^^;

Keumaya defused their later figures(*) with pantsus to prevent further Genitalia Drama but the fact that theyre still using the same lower body sculpt is gift from heaven for perverts.If you have the guts to destroy their pantsus youll be able to see their labia in all their glory but they arent worth the hassle imho.

You wont see her labia anyways if your following the building instructions since the handy IV Bag and her belt make up one formidable defense line against low anglers.Dont ask me why shes carrying around an IV bag down there but hey maybe shes de-hydrated and needs some fluid.

My ecchi side is very pleased by the fact that shes pulling the IV Bag Tube through her legs with her left hand :3

It seems that the Black Version Tier is owning switched the tube action with a second syringe gun which isnt quite as sexy but pretty badass in combination with all the black shes wearing.

So what can I say? I am really impressed at the Work that Keumaya delivers.While I cant be 100% sure that this isnt a bootleg I am more than pleased with what I got.Ill keep Keumaya on my Radar and maybe Ill get Nurse Commander Erika and Victory Yuno aswell

(*)= Keumaya is re-releasing the 3 Nurses with cast-offable pantsus so youre basically getting the best of both worlds.Probably the most interesting thing about the re-releases is that theyll come with some pube decals.Finally youll be able to give your PVC Figures a beaver…or mustache.

For this shoot I tried something a little different with Tinfoil as background and while it worked in the close ups excellent,the bokeh didnt really wanna work in the full body shots.I had a pretty high aperture so it should have blurred those aswell but maybe thats just me beeing a newbie with a DSLR.

Akikan was one of those shows I really enjoyed while the rest of the world seemed to be disgusted by it QUALITY Animation.Animation always plays a small part in my personal enjoyment when it comes to an Anime.There are other things that have a much bigger impact on me but I guess People actually care alot about it in Visual Media like Anime.

Anyways a show that shows a dude butt-naked for the most part of the first episode cant be a bad one,no?

A harem anime with manservice instead of fanservice in its very first episode? Yes and thats not the only thing where Akikan breaks the conventions of the regular Harem Anime.The Male Lead isnt the typical Loser that has to serve as proxy for the audience but a horny guy with some unique jokes up his sleeve.Not to forget that gay dude that wants to be in the male leads pants and the classmate who calls himself Gigolo-kun!

Besides that you have several girls that also want to be in the guys pants but thats nothing new for the seasoned animeviewer.

One of my favorite lines from one of the girls:

You cannot drink any other juice! You can only drink my juice!

You could sum Akikan up as guilty pleasure.It has many shortcomings but has some unique quirks that make it stand out from the crowd.If thats positive or negative is up to you ^^

Melon is the Akikan of the male lead (whose name Ive forgotten but we dont care about him anyways) and is actually a Melon Soda Can (suprise,suprise).Her appearance and attacks are themed around melons but the most obvious thing I think about when hearing the word Melon wasnt melonified: her boobs.

I am happy with them as they as they are but isnt it a bit weird to give a Melon Girl normal boobs? ^^;;;;

Megahouse had the guts to release a figure of a show that got little to no positive feedback from the otaku crowd and as expected she landed in the bargain bin a few months later.Thats where I picked her up since I eyed her for a long time anyways.

One of the first things that pops into your eyes is the fact that shes a “floating” figure thats merely secured by a metal rod that goes into one of her legs and the Akikan Title the other leg is resting on.It is definately a risky pose for a PVC figure and I cant tell if shell lean in the future or not.As of now shes floating without any signs of leaning though.

The next thing youll notice is that this figure renders Melon as a natural boke and this is my biggest beef with this figure.Her facial expression and especially the eyes make her look as stoned as a Bob Marley.I never had that impression of her in the anime and I seriously wonder if Megahouse tried to imitate QUALITY Animation or if this was just an accident.If youre digging the boke look be sure to pose her from her left side,she looks especially stoned that way.

Id like to see her face as an hommage to the anime since the rest of the figure is the expected Megahouse quality.Her outfit is dominated by different shades of green wich is counterbalanced by some white elements.Sounds relatively boring on paper but looks very vibrant and interesting in real life.This is also thanks to the good paint application and I especially like how the outer lines of her outfit are rendered with glossy green paint.

Her hair is made of slightly translucent material and while I normally hate translucent hair its done just right with Melon.I usually think that translucent hair looks cheap but Melons hair has just the right shade of blonde to hint at its translucency without looking bad.Melons two green translucent hairbeads are nicely incorporated into her hair and cover up the connection between two hair pieces.

Its a shame that Melon bombed since Megahouse has put some effort into her,besides the face, as its appearant with all the little details like the can-tab-earring or the green shimapan.Yet,I can understand why she didnt sell since the show itself bombed and her design isnt unique enough to draw in outsiders like eroge figures do so often.

I am personally a bit let down by her face and therefore Id rate her as an average to good figure if youre a fan of the franchise.I am glad that I found her for a nice price in the garbage bin since shes a nice addition to my figure collection that isnt castoff.I wouldnt mind more figures from Akikan either especially Yell ^^

I think you already noticed but yes I did upgrade to an DSLR at the end of march.Thats also the reason for my 2 week long hiatus because I had to play around with my new baby.So how did I get my hands on a shiny new DSLR? To answer that question is actually have to travel back about one year ago.

Last spring one of the german multimedia retailers called Saturn had an awesome offering for the Nikon D40.German blog buddies like JimmPantsu took their chance and by the time I knew about it the camera was gone.I secretly hoped that theyd do the same with the Nikon D60 this spring and saved up some money on the side.I have no idea how I did it but I somehow didnt spend all of my cash on stupid stuff.

My time came at the end of march when I saw a spotfrom said retailer on TV advertising the Nikon D3000 Double Zoom kit for 399€ .I didnt have to think long since this was more than I hoped for and bought the camera on the following monday.

What I did in the following days was trying to master this completley different experience.After a few hours with the camera I wouldnt switch back to a point and shoot even if id be threatened with death by moe.The whole experience is much smoother and gives you alot more control over your pictures.I must admit all the options are quite intimidating in the beginning but once you get used to it its fantastic.

In the first two days I bugged quite a few people on MSN because I was so scared to break something on my camera that its not funny.Thanks alot guys for having all that patience with me! ;D

I own the camera for about 2 weeks now and still have alot to learn.I took some pictures outside and will post them in a different post.I dont wanna mess up this review with shitty pictures XD

My last post revealed my certain affinity to one of the most genre defining characters of tha last century.One can think about Neon Genesis Evangelion what he wants but it sure gave life to two of the most lucrative characters ever.One can even argue that there are two kind of persons,Asuka or Rei Type, but that would go beyond my horizon especially since they introduced that third girl in the recent movie.I prefer to stick to my roots and present you just another Rei figure post after the Jump!

I simply assume that you do know who Rei Ayanami is,since you cant avoid the iconic character even if you are only remotely interested in Anime.I once read an interview with Hideaki Anno where he was displeased by the fans reception of Rei as an object of desire rather than the creepy emotionless doll she was supposed to be.The unexpected Rei Mania that followed brought a certain shift to the industry`s thinking what might be considered as cute by the audience.This was the birth of the mysterious,broken girl moe that still exists pretty much unchanged nowadays and caters to the preferable male viewers instincts to protect the object of desire from harm.

Even nowadays many mangakas draw inspiration from Rei and one of the most obvious Rei Clones got to be Ikki Tousens Ryomou Shimei who must have escaped the Human Instrumentality Project Test Tubes somewhere in the nineties and had a boobjob afterwards.

Personally ive always been attracted to Rei`s broken body,broken mind concept.Theres a certain fascination that comes from a shattered entity thats way more fascinating than its regular working counterparts.Shes a mere replaceable tool with little to no personality simply made to work in the very basic sense to achieve the makers goal.Im pretty certain that there was a certain word for this phenomenon but I cant remember what it was called.

Anno Hideaki said the following about Rei`s Character Design back in the day:

Whatever else, she needs to be painted in as a bitterly unhappy young girl with little sense of presence

So why do we like Rei? My guess is that everyone is reminded of his very own inner conflict and the realization that in fact most human beeings are born broken and are actually striving to become complete throughout their life.You might ask what a complete,working human actually is but this depends on your very own definition and cant be answered by anyone else but you.

Lets stop with this excourse and get back to the figure…

Evangelion and Ikki Tousen do not only have the same character type in common but also the fact that both flood the market with an neverending onslaught of merchandise.The normal procedure for Evangelion merchandise seems to be to put the EVA Girls into some fetishy outfit and sell it to the already raving masses.This particulary Rei did something astounding with delivering an in-character Rei thats probably the best rendition of her on the market.

Dont get me wrong,I do like a boobielicious Rei like any pervert,but I actually care about the figures representing a character accurately and most Rei figures fail in that department.Most of them have long departured from the original creepy girl and simply deliver another Moe Character good to cash in.

Thats why I especially like this figure for representing her as the broken entity she was before the Otaku Collective slowly turned herself into something she isnt supposed to be.

The curled up pose and the sorrowful look in her eyes perfectly represents what I like in Rei`s Character.Shes an abused and bruised personality looking for that last warmth thats left for her in that last small bit of private space thats left for her.

Ill stop now before you guys think I am totally nuts but yes I do like the darker thoughts about her ^^;

Quality wise shes a great figure with typical Alter Quality with very little to rant about on my side.Its really minor but upon closer inspection I noticed that on her butt/legs something like paintbrush strokes is visible.I doubt that Alter works with paintbrushes but thats what they remind me of.Its only visible on the white parts of her plugsuit and normally wouldnt be noticed when shes lying on her base.Her base is a rather unspectacular shiny black base with the Evangelion Movie logo on it.Rei also comes with an additional hairpiece with the interface headset.

Tried to get the illusion of someone entering the room and casting a shadow on her here

I tried to go for a darker, more grittier feel this time and used the dreaded BRS Chain with her and tried to play with the shadows casted by the sunlight to highlight certain parts.I do know that some of the pictures look very alike but every picture has some very minor differences.They may not mean alot to you but to me they already change alot of the atmosphere of the pictures.I also worked with many close up shots to further incorporate the feeling and used one of my bamboo mats to create some empty desolated space shes lying in.

As usual I admire the work of other figure bloggers that work out these effect so much better than me ^^;;;

Combining two awesome things should theoretically end up as ONE AWESOME THING in capital letters, but reality has proven that this easy formula isnt as easy as it seems.Turning a boobielicous re-imagination of Ikki Tousen`s Fetish Queen Ryomou Shimei by Shunya Yamashita into a figure seems like no brainer but did the calculation add up?

It is no secret that I am a pervert like boobs scantily clad babes girls with malfunctioning clothes strong girls with luscious curves that show that theres nothing more graceful than kicking your preferably buff and male opponent`s face to the curb while beeing naked and flashing everything.Ive gotta thank Japan for showing me the right path to ascend from trivial worldly matters such as sexism to see the big picture: Japanese Men are just a bunch of pervs.

Ryomou Shimei has always been my favorite girl from the Ikki Tousen franchise.Lets be honest how can a Rei Ayanami Clone with psychopathic tendecies and a cosplay fetish not find approvement by the male population?Shes become more tame during the progressing story but nevertheless shes still my number one girl from the franchise.

Out of all the illustrators living in glorious Nippon,there has always been one that touched my heart in a very special way: Shunya Yamashita.Theres just something about the characters curves and faces that make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.ShunYama has the tendency to pick some of my favorite Game/Anime Babes and to give them a make-over in his own style.Morrigan? Check! Cammy? Check! I-No? Check! Rei Ayanami? Check!

Its only natural that our Rei Clone joins the ranks of her big sister and gets the same treatment as her.The Result is as expected breathtaking and turns her into a very sensual girl that nevertheless kicks ass.I couldnt find an image of the illustration among the usual imageboards so ill just refer to the offical site.

After Daiki Kougyou announced that theyre gonna release the limited to 40 pieces Garagekit as a PVC figure I had to change my pants.She became my number one priority to acquire in an instant and I preordered her approximately 3 seconds later in my dirty pants.I already missed out on Daiki`s Miko Kanu and there was no way that Im going to risk to miss out on her.Daiki announced two alternate versions a few weeks later with one traditional faced Ryomou and her 7th grader Version with long hair.As much as I find Junior High Ryomou charming theres just the ShunYama Touch missing and the regular faced Ryomou simply defies the purpose to buy a Shunya Yamashita figure.

My experiences with figures above the 100€ mark were a rather mixed experience,ranging from great to absolutely horrible.Naturally I was more than thrilled to see what quality Daiki Kougyou delivers since their quality seems to be rather inconsistent.There are awesome figures like their Miko Kanu and rather mediocre niche figures that have one thing in common: a high price.

At first I wasnt really impressed with her but she really grew on me after further inspection.

The Colour Palette is rather muted with alot of emphasis on the contrast of black and white with a hint of colour through the bright red ribbons aswell as her purple boots/gloves.Those splashes of colour really help to keep a nice balance between dull and colourful but doesnt make her stand out like flashy paintjobs by other companies.Dont get me wrong the paintjob is great and they even paid great detail to small details like Shunyas Trademark Lips or her mole but it simply isnt jumping right into the eye.Shading is done nicely giving the figure alot of depth making the paintjob a very nice piece of art.

The Overall sculpting is great and the transition from illustration to 3d went very well.Her curves are still dangerous,her lips full and her eyes still inviting but most importantly: shes one of the few non-trashy Ikki Tousen Figures .Alot of detail went into the sculpting of the creases and folds in her clothes to underline the turning motion of her torso and I am more than delighted to say that they also paid full attention to the ones in her pantsu.When talking about pantsus we also must talk about butts and oh my god what a butt she has.This has to be the most delicious butt in my entire collection and I love how the pantsu cuts into her tender meat XD.

This is a figure that asks to be displayed in cast off mode but this is a part where the sculpt could have been improved.Theres a more than small gap between her torso and legs thats luckily only seen when beeing looked at from ground floor or below.Since the figure ask to be displayed slightly below the viewer to make full use of its captivating eye its a rather minor fault but a faut nevertheless.

While talking faults I should also talk about two things that are probably unique to my figure and cant be attributed to the whole lot.When I unpacked Mou-chan I was greeted with her left underarm falling off the figure.Seems like the factory worker was too busy admiring her butt to properly glue the arm into place.A little glue fixed the problem in no time and she was good as new.I found it rather amusing that the figure stays in character and gets hurt like the real thing though ^_^

The other fault,if you wanna even call it a fault is that the decal of her eyeball is loacted a little bit more left-upwards then the normal cast.This makes the eye look a lil bit weird from certain angles but the mislocation is only a few milimeters and not that bad.

The last thing I wanna mention is that her inner thighs had some white smudges ( ^^;;;) from her pantsu but those could be brushed away with a finger without sweat.Sadly I only noticed them in the pictures and I was too lazy to redo those.

As you can see I am using a new lighting setup with Photobulbs with 5400 K.The funny thing about this is that they are so much more powerfull than my 60 Watt Daylight bulbs with only 25 Watt.I still need to get used to it and some pictures are quite overlighted especially in the head area.I wonder if I should use a Diffusor for the Head light or just try around with it more.Any Help is appreciated

I promised a new figure review on thursday and Ive finally found the time to post it! Its the lovely Sakura Matou from Fate Stay/Night doing what shes best at: beeing a Yamato Nadeshiko.I bet you didnt see that one coming huh? Hit the Jump to read a review of a 3 year old figure!

Everybody and their Grandma knows Fate Stay/Night and I dont think that I have to explain the money making machine that it is.Out of the three main heroines Sakura always got the end of the stick and ranked in last.I cant tell whats more attractive about Rin or Saber but in my opinion those two are duller characters than Sakura.Maybe its Sakuras “plain” look or her more than troubled past but I think that she deserves more Love than she actually gets.

She is the typical plain childhood friend character whos in love with the lead that happens to appear in every harem anime/eroge and is indeed a flat character during the Fate and Unlimited Blade Works Route without any real personality.The last Route Heavens Feel is where she shines and you finally get to know the real Sakura and discover that she isnt what you thought shed be.I dont intend to write more or even spoiler the three people who dont know her “secret” though and wanna talk more about her figure.

Good Smile Company decided to go with the “caring childhood friend who just comes home from shopping with a bag full of delicous food” look.The Fate Stay/Night franchise usually spawns a shitload of figures with different fetishized outfits but Sakura has been pretty much spared except of a few exceptions like a swimsuit or this:

Back to the figure I own and can actually afford without losing a kidney: Back when I was searching for a nice figure of Sakura is was basically torn between this figure and Alters “Battle Suit Ver.” and asked LovelyDuckie for advice since show owns both figures.In the End I settled with the figure you see because Alters figure wasnt as detailed as hoped and GSC`s Sakura delivered in that department + bigger and as everyone knows the bigger the better! ( Do I hear some girls giggling?)

Sakura is as a matter of fact the oldest figure I own beeing released in 11/06 despite the fact I bought her last year at a discounted price during one of HLJs Sale.Poor Sakura was months in their bargain bin and this seems to prove her unpopularity with the Otaku crowd.

I cant say much about Figures from the year 2006 but as far as I can tell she aged rather well then other figures beyond the 3 years+ mark.The paintjob of the figure is rather flat consisting of only a few colours and theres little to no shading to give the figure a bit more depth,but that doesnt make her unappealing.One of the biggest drawbacks for me was the fact that her dress is in fact molded from black plastic.It has the tendency to eat up the light and stands out from the rest of the figure quite a bit.In stark contrast is the plastic bag that shes carrying and that has been done with the outmost care and is one of my favorite things about this figure.You can see the items she bought for tonights dinner through it and even read the letters “Cookies” on one of the boxes.Her Schoolbag looks nice aswell bt it isnt really a challenge to make something like that look nice.I dont like the way they realized the blush on her face but thats just a matter of personal preference and is done quite often in this way.

All in all she was a real steal for 25€ considering her size and while simple shes full of nice little details that make me like her alot.

Lets talk a bit about DHL now that I am through with the Review.DHL is a daughter company of our German Post and handles therefore the normal and express shippings.This means that all shipments from Japan end up beeing delivered by DHL to me.Ive encountered various Problems with them through the time like not having change on them but it was never as bad as the last time.My latest package was to be delivered to me this wednesday and I wasnt at home at that time so it went back to the warehouse.Thats no big deal so far but the delivery guy didnt leave a note and if I wouldnt have had checked the tracking I woulndt have known that there was a delivery attempt.I called DHL on their line that charges 14 cent a minute and set up a new delivery date for last friday in the timeframe from 17:00-22:00.The next day(thursday) I check the tracking of the package for some unknown reason and it tells me that they attempted to deliver the package again.Like the last time the driver didnt leave a notice or something similar.I call them again on their line and they tell me that they have no Idea what happened and reconfirm the delivery time for friday.The next day I rush home from work and arrive at my flat at 16:00.At around 18:00 I check the tracking again and what do I see? A Failed delivery attempt at 17:04! I was home at that time,my bell worked and my name is clearly written at the doorbell yet it failed???

The driver didnt leave a note again and I start to doubt that he actually even tries to deliver the package to me.I call yet again at their line and they once again tell me that they have no idea whats going on and that theyll deliver it again on saturday.On Saturday the Driver finally shows up,has no change and leaves with more money than neccessary.

Seriously? What kinda service is that for a paying customer who spends some pretty cash on an EMS Shipment?

Has anybody else experienced problems like these?
